Our family is enjoying a hygge afternoon tea time after school around the dining room table with hot cups of tea and a little fresh fruit platter a sandwich and a sweet cake or biscuit. It's been really amazing to see how much this little special time is changing our family and bringing it closer together. Dinner time can be a little chaotic with a larger family and various ages but we're getting that special quality time together at afternoon tea time?! It's a massive blessing! 💓🥰🙌
My daughter just bought me Meik's book, and it is fascinating. Great book, great interview Chris. So thankful to Meik Wiking for sharing his research on happiness and home. Such meaningful and important work....
Family dinners are key! We tend to cook 3 whole fresh meals a week, 4 days of fresh salad with leftovers and eat out one day with other loved ones. We tend to enjoy Sunday roast, taco Tuesdays, fish Fridays. Nothing gets wasted.
I'm just coming across this information and about your book on the Hygee lifestyle but when I look at my surroundings at home we're already incorporating a lot of these things. I am going to be more intentional now. I saw this word Hygee as an essential oil from doTERRA and now I'm ordering the room spray to evoke more of that cozy feeling throughout the house. I will definitely order your book and I enjoyed this interview. Thank you
I really seeked you out, I have several of your books, my question is, I kept happy memories, but things went bad now and I'm so sad to look at my journals and scrapbooks of happiness, how can I look at them again? TYVM
I’m a fellow scrapbooker/memory keeper as well. Keep the stories of your life and know it’s okay to up-play and down-play what you wish. All those life events helped to create you and your life outlook. I know I wouldn’t want my next generation to think I had nothing to overcome. I’d want them to know that challenges will come from every direction and that they will learn and grow from them. All the best to you!

The tv thing is classic correlation doesn’t equal causation.
