Its actually hard to understate what an unmitigated disaster Operation Revival turned into. The clans walked into the inner sphere with over a century of technological innovation on their foes and somehow managed to lose every battle of consequence and then lost an entire clan in the counter attack that followed. The last Smoke Jaguar mech pilot burning herself alive in a mech over 160 years old as her world and culture burned around her because of war her foolhardy people started is the ultimate expression of what clanner ideology brings.

Well, to be fair, Mechwarrior/Battletech does have its own version of the Mammoth tank. It's called the Demolisher and for a time during the early second succession war it was a stud of the battlefield and I believe it saw action during the Battle of Tukayyid. In a way the Clans were playing Mechwarrior during the battle of Tukayyid, while the ComGuards were playing Command and Conquer, because they used everything in their arsenal in that battle.
@LordBrimstone1 I know about the demolisher. It's my favorite ambusher. I generally have about 2 or three of them hiding in terrain around my centerpiece just lurking. I wasn't discounting the track, I love it. It was, in fact, an observation because of the inclusion of Hell March mixed in.

In MechWarrior2 from the early 90s you could occasionally ID a building and it would come up as FASA HQ.

As a ComGuards player, I have to say that this is the best thing put out thus far to kick clanner butt to. Now where's my map, radio, and binos? I need to call for arty on those filthy Clanners.
