- Alliauna Green, an East Bay rapper known as Tan DaGod, was killed over the weekend. Her friends say she was shot while attending an event at a beauty shop in Oakland.
The artist with over 20,000 followers on Instagram had a bright future ahead of her.

When it comes down to it, it is preferable, in their eyes, to allow it all to go on like it is. Those lives don't really matter. Many of the ones loudly proclaiming their outrage have gotten very rich and very powerful from all this hot air activism. Playing the part of the outraged activist is very profitable. Why change anything at all?
