I loved Fred Gwen’s performance! Excellent actor he was!
Fred Gwynne (1926-1993) was a very talented actor, artist and author. At 6 foot 9 inches tall, he had the stature and the distinctive good looks that kept him very busy in Hollywood and elsewhere.
All while fighting cancer during the filming

Loved this movie. The public Lawyer with the stuttering still kills me to this day. Fred Gwynne passed away a few months after this movie came out. He was outstanding ...Good to see you back on the road Jordan..
Fred Gwynne passed away in the summer of 1993.

Jordan - I can't believe you got to that many location shots for this movie. I love this movie. Since you were filming in the south, have you had trouble with the circadas noise-wise or have you been lucky so far? I just saw on the news about an outdoor wedding where they landed on the guests and were so loud that they drowned out the musicians at the ceremony. Have a great day Jordan! Blessings-Judith 🎵🎭
You should have gotten some boiled peanuts while at sac o suds! You eat the peanuts but you suck on the shells...they are salty and soooo good!!!
I've been through Montecello downtown many times, never knew it was in the movie! All I knew was it is Trisha Yearwood's Hometown.

One of my fav movies. Such good quotable lines. Our family references it all the time. Can't hear the word identical without hearing it as I- dentical cue hand clap open hands palm out. So many great lines. Every one dead on balls accurate. Love it.

You are now in my neck of the woods. If you get to Augusta, GA you have James Brown history along with quite a few other famous people-Jim Nabors in North Augusta (used to sing in the Grace United Methodist Church choir). Tons of music history here.

I was hauling a car from Florida to Wisconsin Last year and pulled into the Sac-o-suds parking lot about 1 a.m to get some shut eye in my truck then go look around I'm the morning. A cop came knocking on my window about 3 a.m to see what I was doing, but she was beyond sweet and very happy to know that I rerouted my trip a little to see her town. She gave me some great pointers and ideas of what to look at before getting back on the road. I love that town, everyone seems really nice.

Such a treasure : )☺ I love seeing all the different places and things, like the same door when the judge exited after Gambini, the sac o suds, (I cant believe it actually was a sac o suds). The restaurants. And where they went down the road before the police caught up with them. So many cool things. And the t-shirts! The bar, too, nostalgic!
There are so many great scenes in this movie. I love when she's explaining about the deer in the woods. And when the owl won't quit screeching and he runs outside and shoots at the dark. One of my favorite movies. Great actors all.

Got to see Joe Pesci and Danny Glover filming scenes from Gone Fishing in the bay behind a high rise I was working on. Tiger tail Lagoon. The marina was next door to the jobs site. A stunt woman was killed doing the boat jump there. Sean Connery was here at the same time filming Just Cause.
I have never seen the movie. I will have to check it out. Wow you cant get any more southern than that with the hog barbeque place!! Have you had the barb q yet? I have never had it but I do love bar b q . Hopefull you can get some of those kinds of places vlogged. I have never been to the south and its cool you can show places there that some of us will never get to visit.

I just used google earth (6/30/21) and checked the Putnam Motel location. As of today, the image on street view still has the hotel, and the highlighted picture in the corner shows a significant fire. Just thought I'd add that. Great Video.

I probably use "I shot the clerk?" almost daily lol! So happy you got to visit the remaining locations.. well, except for the trailer across from the sac o suds I think they're mostly still there!🤪 They let In the Heat of the night use the courtroom set in the CBS years and tons of people from Heat were in Vinny! :D That is so awesome you got the 2nd floor shot! I don't know of anyone that got up there!🤘
Wow I saw a location video a few years ago and the Sac O Suds was closed and abandoned and in real bad shape. It looks fantastic.

I thought for sure that "Sac-o-Suds" was a name made up just for the movie! Lol. I still haven't figured out how driving from NY to L.A. gets them waaay down in GA. (Does I-10 go all the way to L.A.?? 🤔 I dunno.) Loved seeing the ACTUAL locations. I figured they all had to be Hollywood locations and sets. So cool.
