I highly recommend New Retro Arcade (available on Steam). It's an 80s style virtual arcade that uses LibRetro to display ROMs on the actual in-game arcade cabinets. You can customise the arcade cabinets with your own art/emulators/roms, and also play a couple of physics based minigames (bowling and arcade basketball).

Why was GTA San Andreas number 1 when it had garbage games and Animal Crossing number 10 when it had classics in it?

Ok, I'll give it cheats and radio. It's got great cheats (flying cars and jetpack are my favorite) and the music was top notch (still no straight outta Compton though). As for story, i personally didn't like it. Carl wasn't as engaging as other rockstar protagonists.
My local game store has a whole section called "The Warp Zone" thats ONLY arcade cabinets. Best. Game store. Ever.

Thanks so much for saying that! This one in particular took a HUGE amount of time to put together, significantly more time playing the games then would usually go into a normal video as well. I think it took me almost two weeks to get all the footage for this!

Yeah I was going to originally include Shenmue, but I honestly don't have hardcore experience with that game. I've only played the beginning section of it. I know there are actual arcades in those though as well!

***** I see. I think what helped me through my Shenmue experience was that I had bought a strategy guide to go with it, which made it easier and I was able to progress through. The arcade place isn't too hard to reach though.

There's a few arcades that I know of in the PNW. Dorky's in Tacoma, WA, Ground Kontrol in Portland, OR, and a new arcade in Bremerton, WA that I can't remember the name of atm
The largest arcade in America is the Galloping Ghost, $15 for unlimited plays on any cabinet in there. You will definitely get your moneys worth compared to if you spent quarters on every play.
My local mall has an arcade in it and it was newly renovated and it is now a pokemon go gym xD
I have played Bully and beaten it at least 10 times throughout my life, and I adore it :33 definitely one of my favorite PS2 games.

One of my favorite video game arcades is in Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne. You get to play an arcade machine that has you moving blocks around as a Pyro Jack. Not only is the game pretty fun and challenging with a lot to offer, but you get a REALLY awesome reward for beating it.
I'm kind of surprised that LEGO Dimensions wasn't on this list as one of the level packs is Midway Arcade, in which you're goal is to clear out a haunted arcade by playing classic arcade games like Gauntlet and Rampage to name a few with several other arcade classics in various levels and Adventure Worlds.

I used sticks in Splatoon and was generally one of the better players in each match. To each their own.
+The Satellite it was a joke. Kind of a reference to how lots of splatoon players see motion controls as the only way to play, even though both are effective.
Stephen Ahern I tried to use gyro. I just don't get the same satisfaction out of it as I did with any games that used gyro aiming on the 3DS. Not sure what it is.

The Yakuza series has some really good arcade games. Rumor has it that Yakuza 6 (currently Japan only) will have Virtua Fighter 5, a PS3 game, as a fully playable game. All of the Yakuza games have loads of mini games that are surprisingly, very fun. Nice Vid!

I think the DK one is above the Animal Crossing one due to the time when the games were released, along with the fact that the Animal Crossing one is one you have to make. Still, a few of them seem like they are in the wrong spot

I know this vids nearing its first birthday, but I think one of my favorite in game arcades is from Pacman World 2. All the titles are old Pacman games and you unlock more as you progress, but they are a ton of fun, including a Dr. Mario/Tetris type one that I probably put 15+ hours into just on its own.

Playstation Home's Arcade literally had a library of PS1 and PS2 games to play on your PS3.

LEGO Dimensions Midway Arcade, and any of the Namco Museum PSOne titles (1-3 especially). Granted, the latter are technically "museums," but you still have to interact with coin-op machines to play the games.
