I've always thought about making pattern weights with big heavy washers. They would probably make cute donuts if I could combine the felt application idea to the washers? So many options! 🥰
That is brilliant and I'd love to hear how well that works. I think the mesh might mess up your rotary cutter, but you could probably use some sharp craft scissors. If you try it please let me know how it goes!
Possibly. Picked mine up at Home Depot and the mesh looked almost like wide cheesecloth. The threads were a bit thicker and covered in some pretty serious glue. If you have some scissors you use for buckram they will probably work here too
Please let me know about your ideas to make patter weights! There's always more than 1 way to do something

Those would be adorable! I've seen those ideas too. I bet it works great if you can get a lot of washers from the hardware store
Good idea for pattern weights.
Thank you so much!
I think you really did nail it! Nice pattern weights🤗
Thank you. They are a fun day make project 🧵
Thank for this, by the way I really like your glasses, I need some new ones, yours look really cool.
The m glad you liked them both of my current pairs come from lenses crafters
I am thinking why not just glue the felt onto the full sheet and then cut them apart with a rotary cuter? Or is the mesh too thick to cut?

I was thinking the same, maybe the store that sells the marble sheets sells a blade that cuts the mesh?

the mesh would ruin scissors
I would try soaking the sheet in water before removing the tiles from the backing.
That's definitely worth a try!
Can you tell me what size this is ?
They are roughly 2 inches. I like them because the size fits nicely in my palm.
