Man that has got to be the coolect base I've seen, adding the 3 extra halfbodies makes it go from an ok 7/10 to an 11/10 once you have all four together playing off eachother, I love it when a statue comes together like that.
Great unboxing. Hey do you know anyone that fixes statues I broke my Sauron weapon tried to super glue it but the glue was not working and ruined the paint.
@@savitarr1162 I just received this statue, I'm having the exact same issue on the left side. I own many P1 statues, and this is easily the worst experience I've ever had. I was gently trying to maneuver it into position, and snapped a spike off, super frustrated.
It's a great piece, but I can't help but feel like they should have the other 5 even if it was just their head and shoulders. Their Gandalf regular version looks good, but the version with the Balrog just looks silly because he's body surfing on the Balrog like it was an afterthought, not fighting it, or even looking at it as far as that goes.
I don't like the concept at all, paintjob is okay, but nothing special.. for lord of the rings I would always prefer weta, their statues have a better sculpt and are more accurate to the movies. ..the only exception is frodo/gollum, lovely statue, great concept, top notch likeness👍🏻
@@timothygiganti2081 I know that for some pieces the faces are not as good as the prototype, but isildur or elendil e.g. are spot on! ..and the ringwraith statues from weta/sideshow are waaay better than this.
@@SquintuXno thanks. Weta has gotten sloppy with details for major pieces and want to charge more for less. I’ll stick with p1 for characters but we can all collect what we think is better.
Man it looks awesome and I can only imagine how it looks in person. God I love prime 1. I know there prices are getting out of hand but man they never disappoint. How long was he in transit for. I’m waiting for my green lantern and I’m just trying to see how long it will take.
It fits well with the rest of the Prime 1 line and your display. I don't collect this line at all, as I much prefer Weta and DarkSide, but for P1S collectors, it works well. Few notes, the full body Nazgul in the middle is The Witch-King (Morgul Lord), hence him having the different sword and Morgul Blade. The scene is the attack at Weathertop (Amon Sul), it's slightly disappointing that they are only 4, when they were 5 at Weathertop, but it works compositionally and as your say pairs well with Aragorn and the Oathbreakers. Looking forward to seeing the Witch-King when he arrives!

The cluttered look is killing me

better sculpt? Weta faces are awful and they put Sauron’s shoulders on backwards.

@@timothygiganti2081 As I said.. gollum/frodo is a great statue, but this piece makes no sense to me.
agree, everyone has a different opinion✌🏻
I mean I don't care for 99% of weta. Seen most in person. Great we have options. For me p1 is best LOTR line ever created
