- The Ovni 450 is a true bluewater cruiser. The aluminium hull makes it a reliable cruising yacht and the centerboard allows access to shallow bays and small harbours. It might not be the fastest boat, but Ovni is a very popular brand in the yachting community.
I really like this boat's design except for the twin helm. This is very unprotected for the kind of seas this boat is targeting (north seas).
thats a good point! i really like far aft helms for visibility ect. for cruising in confined spaces, and i think for most offshore stuff you would be on autopilot. I like to be able to dock single handed, having quick access to the aft quarter is pretty nice for me.
@@jacobmeldman9454 it is a long time and I think I have changed my mind and I agree with your comment. Maybe center cockpit works on a larger boat like Amels, but this is much more practical and safe. On these aft cockpits, you can have that table to put your leg on. Now I am looking into seeing the 400 version of this boat at the show or something.

Would be awesome not to have to polish/wax topsides or scrub teak on deck (assuming that is synthetic teak decking in cockpit); looks like a very practical, stout, blue water boat. Love it!
