Just a heads up it might be a good idea to hold off on trying pconc right now. The quiver jewels are insanely expensive right now. Not 100% sure why they spiked. I did see Ruetoo started leveling a pconc character yesterday so maybe that is part of it
For what its worth - with just a quiver with +2 alone and the passives that give 100% effect total + the widowhail, im getting like +8 levels already so - you're PROBABLY fine without the jewels if you cant find some rn

Dude you opened the Pandoras box to the people! hahaha ive been using a Explosive Concoction build and Widowhail is A m a z i n g. just a +2 projectile skills is giving me 10 lvls extra. not only that Thanks to Mods like add # to # fire damage to attacks i just melt everything at sight
I’ve been tracking them on trade site and they’ve been very expensive for over a week. I think jungroan used a widowhail quiver bonus maxing build for vine arrow before that got nerfed so that could be the cause
Yes you can ^^ That's actually my build. I like to run sacrifice with it as well and have a scepter in my second weapon slot. Allows you to kill the screen without even attacking
So I actually think that will be strong and I want to try that once I have a really good quiver. But seriously, you will need a super good quiver for that to make sense with good suffixes and at least 2 high tier flat damage prefixes. I leveled with the flat ele runes but if you plan on going crit I would definitely use the crit multi soul cores since they literally multiply your crit bonus or the spirit soul cores as well (super pricey though).
Herald of ice scaling on your weapon damage basically rules it out no? Even with great flat damage rolls on your quiver it's not going to hit hard enough to chain poison shatters.
So as far as I know it uses your attack damage which means herald of Ice would get all the flat from the quiver multiplied by the quiver effect just like I do. Now, the quiver flat values do not go super high so that still could end up not being enough damage. Between Herald of Ice, Herald of Thunder, fiery death or something else there has to be a way to make the clear acceptable. I'll see how it goes once I get into maps with a little more denser areas.
@@chesterblankenship9445 I just combined some reduced mana cost, regen and mana flask nodes on the tree. Also, more importantly slot Inspiration in the spark gem socket.

@@RathVantas i had the luck to Snatch a 272% bonus widowhail for only 10ex
also tri elemental bow you can get more flat ele from quiver scaling than a bow can roll realistically especially for the cost.

could you maybe use corpsewade boots with poison prolif from pathfinder for clear? decompose spell supposedly does insane poisons

It should but won't apply on hits that rely on crit.
Wonder if this would work with like lightning arrow just for huge flat phys/cold on quivers. Then just add flat cold runes into widowhail.

with the current low-ish power from rare bows I would be inclined to say yes if you have a high roll on the widowhail.
