Just found this channel. I'm loving it. Please keep up the videos. Love seeing the work and hearing the stories. And love the tips for young tailors, or would be ametur / home tailors.
Really enjoying youre videos! As a ready to wear patternmaker of 35 yrs or so, I've always been mystified how tailored patterns seam to have no notches or markings for sewing/sleeve ease, vents etc etc. I understand chalk lines for sewing, pocket placement etc however these are only on one side of this cutwork. Can you please elaborate on that and chest canvas attachment . Thank you!
I love these videos and all the information. Why do you always wipe your shears on the back of your head before cutting, is it just to get a bit of natural oil on the blades ?
Will you do vid: why you use the ✂️ you use? There's a sharp clip sound at the end. Is there a purpose for that? Do you sharpen your ✂️, or send them out? Demonstrate how to sharpen. Any particular brand, size, shape, etc..... Thank you. Sf bay, Calif., USA 04-15-22 8:53 pm 🤺💐
