I relied heavily on your last start to finish video to attempt my first western style boot. I don't own a heavy stitching machine like you do so I did the side seams by hand. Not done with the boot yet but it's not looking bad at all. Thanks a million.
Oh my gosh!! That is awesome!! I would love to see them when you are done. If you are on Facebook, you could ask to join the "Official Boot Making Forum", which I admin...and you could post them there!! Anyway, it is humbling for sure that our videos might help someone!! It is our Hope always that they do!! Thank you so much...and stay tuned for more...and also, you will be able to join as a member soon...and get access to personal, one-on-one help from me!! It would be my honor!
@@eradawnboots going to do that right away.
WOW. Again and Again. The Excellent of Craftmanship
Thank you thank you!!
I really enjoyed watching you build that beautiful boot. I just wish you didn't play that terrible music during the videos. I had to mute the sound and missed what you were talking about. You are a true craftsman.
Tremendous skills and artistry, I can understand why these boots are worth $5000 or more, I'm sure Adam and Eve would have loved a pair of these.
😂😂 Good one!! And thank you!!
Trabalho incrível,
Thank you so much!!!
Very snappy looking boots , red lining is a classy touch .
Thanks Brad!! We like to line our boots with something unique and cool!
When sewing the welt, use the end of the awl to wrap the thread around to pull tension, thats what it is made for.
Oh yes...I have to do that occasionally when the thread won't pull through easily. Good point! Thanks for watching!
Wow, what an incredible boot!! I was locked in on every second of this video! I cant wait to make my 1st boot! In the ballpark, what does something like this cost? And how much time did it take you?
Thank you so much for watching!! As far as cost, if you are wanting to know how much the boot was retail, if I remember right, it would have been around 2,500.00. As far as how long it took me to build...it was around 20 hours. Again, thank you so much and stay tuned for more videos, plus very soon, you will be able to join as a member of our channel and receive a lot of great perks!!
@@eradawnboots awesome! Thank you so much! And wow you did all that work pretty quickly!
These zipper boots are about twice as fast to make as cowboy boots!
@@eradawnboots oh wow great to know! Thanks for that info!
Hello, is there a modern equivalent to the Model K curved need stitcher? Where would you suggest somebody find one of these Model K machines? Thanks for the great videos.
Hey Ryan...yes, there are modern equivalents, though they are console machines, or basically rigged out in enclosures for safety regulations. They are generally now made in China. There are a lot of old K's out there...you can find them on FACEBOOK groups who specialize in shoe repair machinery. Thanks for the comment!
Heavy Duty Leather Sewing Machines is one of the facebook groups.👍🏼
Where can I find templates to make boots? I/d like to expand my knowledge on bootmaking.
What kind of boots and what size?
@@eradawnboots Hmm like a western style size 9.5
I'm looking for someone that will make boots from Python skins collected from the invasive pythons in the Everglades.
Do you have the skins?
