I am astonished at how closely some of your processes and equipment are like my own at a different time. I even had a Nevoneg !
Love your easygoing style. Keep up the good work.
Keep them coming Chris. Cool highlight of the type writer. In a next video you should talk about those guitars we seem to see in that blurred background 🙂
Thanks Nico! The intro tune is a result of those guitars - whenever I 'disappear' from grain....it's usually to make music :) Thanks for watching!!
@@GRAINTV sounds like some cool stories to tell.
Create more from the heart than with the head... I LOVE IT!! That’s exactly what I need to do. You rock- I love your videos & that typewriter is gorgeous- I have an old typewriter myself I’ve never serviced because I like the “mistakes” it creates. So cool.
I appreciate how efficient camera scanning can be, I think my favorite way of scanning was using an enlarger to project the negative directly onto my camera's sensor-I just used the hdmi out to monitor live view so I could check focus. Also, beautiful typewriter!
Quelle excellente idée de poster un tirage et des voeux tapés à la machine à écrire ! Merci de cette jolie suggestions pour le nouvel an.
hello Chris your video touched me a lot; I had also built a stand for myself to photograph my negatives with the camera. I used the base of an old screen on which the camera with a ball head is now mounted.
In my camera settings I have also found the option to program interval recordings; So now I take 6 shots two seconds apart, that's just enough to slide the picture nicely again and hold it with my hand; thus a strip negative is photographed extremely quickly.
Funnily enough, I also have a typewriter in my room which I sometimes write on the prints.
Greetings and good videos!
Chris, would love to hear your thoughts on the Intrepid enlarger on you Durst stand.
Very very cool.
Hello...no video?
I finally figured who you remind me of... Hal Sparks, known for being the balanced guy on Q.A.F. (you'd be the straight version).
Sincerely meant as a compliment, his character was central.
Have you ever delved into PMK as a developer?
I've reduced types of developers I use, and PMK is one of them.
I get curly negs in 35mm from it, and was curious if you dabble in PMK, and get similar curly results in 35mm. film is Ilford delta(s), PanF+, and just started in Rollei RPX100 (limiting my staples to the requirement of being available in bulk rolls)
Hermes is a great brand.
Where have you been? 6 months no videos.
😍😍☺️👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Who is this grain charecter?
Send me a postcard and I’ll send you a print from Singapore:)
