- Aliens from the past are beginning to appear in the modern world. The visitors come from the Stone Age, the Viking Age and the late nineteenth century. They do not know how they got here, and have no idea how to go back. After several years of coexistence, Viking Alfhildr joins the police force and together with a local detective must find the killer of the other aliens and discover the reason for their appearance.

If you brought some hunter gatherers to the present from 500 years in the past, how likely would it be that they'd still choose to stalk, kill and butcher an animal when they've got the option to eat a varied diet of foods that set their taste buds on fire in ways that before they'd never even imagined possible.
