I loved the video. I want to get it but some reviews are mentioning harsh grainy matte coating on the display compared to other matte monitors. My usage would be in dark environments. Do you think I would notice? Thanks for all!
Hello. Just want to ask how you find the matte coating specially when it is displaying white colors? Also, how is the performance on games locked at 60fps with VRR on? Is there ghosting/inverse ghosting or image duplication?
I just got this monitor a few days ago and yeah the matte coating is absolutely insane on this monitor it adds a grainy/oily look on the panel and it really stands out on bright colors so if you're sensitive to this kind of thing i really would not recommend the monitor but other than that it's pretty good in the other aspects.
@@Fuyu1ki thank you for the reply! I was able to see the XG27ACS on display but it was only a static image and was mostly a dark image. The coating is okay but my companion said it was thick. Hahaha. I ended up buying the XG27ACG and it seems to be better. I don’t know the response time though.
@@Fuyu1ki hi, I think the bezels are smaller than the ACS. The ACS was about my pinky finger and the ACG is a little bit smaller like 2/3 of my pinky finger. The bezels on my 24 inch monitor is way smaller though. About 1/3 of my pinky finger. The matte coating I can now say is less compared to the ACS and my companion at the time of seeing the ACS in person agrees. As for the image quality and colors I do not think I am qualified to say that because the monitor I used before this is a 1080p 24 inch one, but it is amazing and I noticed it quickly. I do however notice the lower contrast ratio. I have the AOC 24G2E before and it was the 2019 IPS panel with around 1400/1500:1 contrast ratio and I can see the difference. I watched a UA-cam music video with a black background and there are some blocks I notice on the XG27ACG that I do not see on my 24G2E. On games that have a lot of color though the ACG is freaking amazing. It was like I was playing a different game? I don't know if it's just the higher PPI but wow did I notice it the moment I first used it. I think I was smiling the whole time. We had a party at my house the day I bought it and I think that was the most chatty I've been. Hahahaha. The response time is pretty freaking nice but I will still get back to you on this because I have not really tried an FPS game where I really need it. Tried Spiderman on it and it feels smoother even at the same frame rate on my 1080p one. I believe it is the same because I was rendering the game at 1440p on a 1080p monitor. It is quite nice to have the variable overdrive. I don't have to switch from strong to medium every time I switch to a game locked at 60 fps and something that can run higher. The 60 fps games I tried I think I notice the ghosting/inverse ghosting less? It is there but it feels less than my old monitor. It is not painful to look at so I was able to turn off motion blur whereas I needed it before to hide the ghosting/inverse ghosting. Pretty freaking good so far. Will update once I got to play a high fps FPS game. The brightness I have set it to 25-28 but at night it still hurts my eyes on a white screen but I think I easily get that even on my older monitor but this time it is a bit worse. Thinking of changing the settings more without affecting the image quality as much. For productivity like editing a video, the colors are good but the contrast is there. At least on the UI. Hahaha. On normal stuff like Excel, Word, and all that. It is nice. The text is clear. No complaints. I love it. Bigger screen and higher resolution is very nice. I guess I can recommend it for those that want a high response time. The colors are amazing in my opinion but I am fairly green when it comes to monitors as this is just my second one. The only thing I have about it is the contrast ratio so not much on watching content but maybe I've been spoiled by my old monitor because I don't think IPS panels usually go to 1400/1500:1. If you are sensitive to the contrast ratio I think the MSI G274QPX or the Gigabyte M27AQ is better since it has a higher contrast ratio. I saw the AOC Agon Pro AG276QZD2 OD OLED on the store I bought the monitor from. It is twice the price plus a bit more. I think my next target in a year or two will be an OLED one for just games and media consumption. If I don't upgrade my GPU first. Hahaha.
Do you use the cords from the monitor? My monitor won’t turn on and I’m not sure why, I’m completely new to monitors and pc’s and everything but nothing I’m trying is working, everything is plugged in and on and working yet the monitor is the only thing that won’t work. Do I just bite the bullet and buy a hdmi cable?
I have come across so many anti-glare coating on monitors and this is definitely not the worst offender. But just like any monitors with coating, you will have some level of reflection when you place it directly in front of a light source. Hope that helps.
Nope - but generally built in speakers in monitors even if it has one, it's pretty bad, that you could pick up a cheap 2.0 media speakers that could sound better.
hello! I bought myself the same monitor. I ordered it in the Kaliningrad region, the city of Gusev. I'm walking along Gusev, I met 5 people from India, they came for us, it looks wild. it is 1200 km from Moscow. 900 km from St. Petersburg. like and subscribe from the Kaliningrad region.

In your opinion do you think this monitor is great for the price?
I can buy it for 250$ USD

So do you recommend this pc ?

Hey man. I thinking about buying it, but many people say it has a very bad coating for antiglare. Is that true?
I have come across so many anti-glare coating on monitors and this is definitely not the worst offender. But just like any monitors with coating, you will have some level of reflection when you place it directly in front of a light source. Hope that helps.
@vespertech thanks man. Just that some rewiews say it looks lile vaseline when displaying whites.
Hi, how about Ghosting in games? like the black 'Smear"rtc...thnx
is the monitor anti glare?
It does have an anti-glare coating on the display - hence the matte appearance in the display.
Does it have built-in speakers ?
No
Nope - but generally built in speakers in monitors even if it has one, it's pretty bad, that you could pick up a cheap 2.0 media speakers that could sound better.
should I upgrade from my vg27aq I use it for ps5
where can I buy it from India?
At the moment, they don't sell the monitor in India bro. :( not sure why. But if they do, will update you yeah.

They are selling this in India now.
