What *is* poverty? | Week 1 of Lenten Study Series '22

Who are the poor and how should we be helping them? Is what we're doing actually helpful? Or is it hurting others, ourselves, or others?
Using small group videos and materials from Corbett and Fikkert's When Helping Hurts (Chalmers), we will ask these and other critical questions to help us understand what it means to be "in poverty," and consider how the Church is called to serve them. Critiquing our current way of serving those in need is the only way we can get better at it and be faithful to God's call.
