Personally, I think that Yoo Ah In is more of a western type, open-minded and much more flexible than 90 percent of Korean people! I also think that you can't just forget him! But as I "know" him, he will bounce back after the difficulties and either continue his cinematographic career or will do some artistic activity in the future (by the way, how do you get the fact that he was/is in an abusive relationship?? - it seems to me that he is happy in his relationship!)
