I think out of all the 196s outthere the Colmans are probably the strongest. I got 2 of them me and my buddy Rome R.I.P were the 196 fans out of everyone lol I wanna build one up see what u can really get out of it ya know....Goodluck with ur builds👍🏾
Thanks! This clip was before I jerry rigged the throttle limiter and added a pipe and a new airbox and rejetted the carb. I don't think they can dust me like this anymore.
People say 196s are junk but I think different!! They were made for mini bikes ya know I think with some tinkering u can get it to move!! Same with any motor it will go as far as ur money allows!!😅💯
@@keithcola3906 I agree. The next mod my buddy and I have planned out is a 1.6ish gallon gas tank install to our Hurricanes. My 196 needs a little TLC from last season I rode her hard and put her away wet LOL but once this winter is over we'll be wrenchin and riding once again.
@@GVO1 My bike now has stage 1 with the super pipe and the coleman bikes are broken and not running now lol. They got beat hard and put away wet. My bike needs some TLC this winter too.
@@thuggooch1776 yours won't last much longer, the 196 is garbage. Go ahead and buy a Honda or a predator and save yourself the disappointment of a broken crank out on the trails.
It is all about HP and proper gearing.

@@thuggooch1776 RITE ON!!🤘🏾😆 I want a hurricane so bad comfort wise there's non better
Time for upgrades?
Hahah yea I've got the stage 1 kit installed now and I think they'll be chasing me instead lol.
What are the engine specs on those Coleman vs yours
looks to be the same 196 OHV motor but I think they had their governers rigged up and I did not. I can keep up now.
@@thuggooch1776 gotta be because the trailmaster moves and yours sounds like it's asking to be in a stage1 or 2

@@lesheath6216 Winter project to spruce it up for the coming summer I might have to put a ripper of a motor in there eh?!
I noticed no front brake, lemme guess, holes do not line up?
When I put the front brake on something didn't line up. I got it on but it was rubbing super bad so I deleted it. Don't need it anyhow.
