Winter In Wengen

A video introduction to Wengen in Winter & the Jungfrau Ski Region.
Wengen dates back to the mid- to late-1800s and is one of the most charming ski resorts in the Alps. Completely pedestrianised and only accessible by cog railway, Wengen feels like an escape. Perched above a dramatic glacial valley, Wengen and its surrounding region boast some of the best views in Europe and the village has plenty of life & bustle all year round.
In the winter months the Jungfrau Region offers 213 km of pistes up to 2970m with slopes to suit skiers of all abilities. The cog railway links up with Grindelwald where there are more slopes to explore, and it is possible to get the train up to the Jungfraujoch - the Top of Europe - a famous peak in the clouds.
