Whisper may be one of the 26 exotics getting tuned. They already gave it a buff that is pretty much Triple Tap since 1 ammo is refunded out of thin air. But it shouldav been 2 honestly. That way you only spend 1 ammo for every 3 shots fired. Would make it deserving of the Heavy Slot.
i mean on top of what whisper was, it also has a really high fire rate in comparison. It used to be the best, then they nerfed it alot, and buffed other weapons while keeping it in the ground. Sad to see
In a world where many bosses are just giant healthgates, giving new lights a weapon this consistent feels necessary, to be perfectly honest. LFGs saying "bring DPS" just got more accessible for more players.
@@AxzoYT I back what that guy said, reeds is at least 25 times harder to get than taipan, yet they are equal, if not taipan being simpler better with its enhanced perks. Reeds needs to get trials wins, then hope you can get the drop or focus an engram, and if you happen to be a very good or very very very lucky player, you can get a guaranteed adept reed if it's available that week, and even after that you better hope you get a decent or maybe even good roll. If not, then you're out of luck and you need to keep grinding trials for another chance you'll get a roll which probably won't be a 5/5, more likely a 1/5 to a 3/5 on the generous(these perks _could_ be good)end. Taipan requires you get 2 red borders, you have crafting materials and crafting access, and get some juicy XP in that gun. Then, you can make a 5/5 enhanced perk true God roll or any roll really for any purpose. The only universe where reeds is as easy to get as taipan is if you are both very lucky and very skilled, and the gun is only possibly on par with taipan if you use an adept mod or stasis combat mods as those are admittedly easier to benefit from than void alternatives, yet reaping wellmaker is astronomically more forgiving and usable than any other wellmaker mod.
@@willsmith5935 I grinded around 20 adept reeds regrets (like 5000 shards) and got a triple + firing line + enhanced adept reeds. Tbh you usually only proc Veist Stinger once before reloading, this is a rare moment where you just get lucky.
come to think of it. White nail is very similar to triple tap
And just like that, veist became the most popular foundry since yee haw.
