This is a 53" Casablanca Stealth ceiling fan in the Graphite finish, shown with a set of Maple blades and the integrated light kit. Equipped with an XLP-2000 motor, this fan utilizes the Inteli-Touch wall control system using a W-32 control which offers (6) speeds, forward/reverse control, and full range dimming, along with other programmable features. The model number is 32068T and the serial number reads CK200040 which dates this fan to have been manufactured March 20th, 2000; being the 40th fan produced that day.
By now a lot has been said about the Stealth, one of Casablanca's best selling models and really one of the best selling showroom-grade fans for the last 30+ years. By the late 90's to early 2000's, after Hunter's buyout of the company, Casablanca began issuing several new finishes as design trends changed into the new millennium. During this period more sophisticated bronze tones became popular in the market as brass tones faded out of favor. 1999 introduced the Graphite finish which is essentially a textured dark-gray finish; the color opposite of Casablanca's Architectural White finish. While not the most popular or commonly found finish for the Stealth, this finish clearly had some success as it was offered from 2000 up to 2013 when Inteli-Touch was discontinued for the Stealth, along with several familiar finishes as the Casablanca brand underwent a major shift in their product line designs.
As with most other Casablanca fans from this period, this is certainly a solid, well built fan that delivers a powerful breeze. While this particular fan will likely need bearing replacement in the near future, my only criticism of it (and of older Stealths in general), is that the design does not pair well with the typical rubber flywheel that Casablanca used. Due to the weight of the blade mounting assembly and the exposure to heat from the halogen light kit, flywheels on these fans were known to fatigue overtime which can cause warping and blade hub to scrape along the top of the light pan. Overall this is still a quality fan in a unique finish that continues to stand as an iconic design in the industry.
