As an adult graduate student may very well qualify for Florida Medicaid if you are disabled and meet the program's financial criteria. Significant savings is not allowed. But we have tools, such as special needs trusts, that would allow you to set significant amounts of savings aside, which can go towards education and housing expenses (among many other things)
If you are under age 65, you usually have to be deemed “disabled” in order to qualify for Medicaid in Florida (there are some exceptions, eg pregnant women, minor children, etc)

Hi Raz - you are not alone. Medicaid encompasses many different programs. Please schedule a consultation and we can educate you as to which Florida Medicaid program best fits your needs. If you don't qualify for the program, we can also explain how we would protect your savings to make you eligible.
Where is your office located in Florida?
We have physical locations in Aventura, Plantation or Boca. We work throughout Florida remotely. A Tampa is also available if needed.
What about my savings to pay for housing and tuition with in graduate school? Can an adult graduate student still qualify for medicaid?
