In a time when not much news is good news, I can't even tell you how awesome it is when I get the notification of a new Aquaholic video! Thanks for keeping 256K of us going Nick!
7m 36s, an absolute tease, thought we'd see what was under that hatch. Had to listen to the hello a few times, seemed to have an additional 'w' in there. Yet they seemed very friendly !! 🤔🤣🤣🤣 Great tour Nick. Thank you xxxxx
A Few Thoughts: First and foremost, thank you Nick... A year ago my the extent of my "Naval Knowledge" was limited to belly buttons. I had to stop and concentrate on which side port and starboard were on, and 'tender' was the way you treated your lady. Now I think I'm a cross between Espen Oeino and Andrew Winch...! "Hi... I'm Dave, and I'm an Aquaholicholic." The Hi-Lo platform is awesome. Seeing it in action is appreciated. Saying "This goes down like this..." holds nothing to seeing how it works first-hand, so to speak. (Pay particular attention to how wet the teak is in the beginning - then wait for the end!) The Aft Cockpit design is cunning. Brilliant seating solution for a 52-footer. A true 'entertaining boat'. And then you slide open the door (let's pretend it was closed), and it looks like the cabinetry installer was out to lunch and about to install the last overhead storage area...! What in the trailer trash hell is that? Setting a bottle of bubbly and two flutes on top doesn't distract from the 1/2" thick (THIIN) diminutive top, much less the awkward sharp corners, and general complete lack of style, ANY STYLE, whatsoever...! If you look closely @ 1:43ish, you see the Ikea barcode label in the bottom-right corner. Whoever approved that needs to be replaced...! By me. ;-) The damnable shame that is that excuse of an 'Island' is the "eyesore before the main floor". The Main Saloon just wreaks of style! So spacious and gorgeous glazing! Although the helm is obviously technically flawless and very maneuverable boat, the helms seating is admittedly wide, but it does not not look comfortable to sit at for any extended period of time. Love the design of the VIP and twin cabins... Not one single surface with a fingerprint gathering glossy finish...! Brilliant. I'll let Prestige slide on no TV in the twin. The shower enclosure is sheer genius. Finally... A solution to eliminate the 'wet room' for every other builder to emulate. What good is a counter in the heads where everything on it has to be stowed just to take a shower...?!? It's the bane of my existence. Cocktail time... I judge a Master Cabin by the quality/size of the A/V system, and for a 52-footer... Wow! An incredible cabin, for a boat on ANY size. I can't imagine NOT having the Flybridge version... But - instead of the immense Bimini top, why not a sleek carbon fiber arch to accommodate radar/nav sats/etc.? Seems they missed out on a design opportunity there. More brilliant seating with the reversible backrest...! One would safely assume that if you had the means for this type of toy - you'd probably be fortuitous enough to have a delicious bit of eye candy to perch upon the sun lounger adjacent to the helm. Top marks! That's one badass foredeck...! Simple yet useful. Flat sun pads and lounging areas always leave me scratching my yacht designing brain... The engine area... They're 'getatable' alright. IF you're a midget...! C'mon Nick... Now granted, it's not like very many yacht owners are gonna whip out their toolkits and start spinning wrenches, but... There's a reason why top-notch marine mechanics make incredible money...! And I bet you'd pay extra to work on that beauty. You pull her into to the marina and thank Phillipe for 'taking care of everything'... Jump in the Porsche and go have dinner. Simple. @11:34... How costly would it be to have something a little less haphazard than the 'almost finished' appearance of the tender storage area above the engines? If you happen to be in Brighton... Stop by and check out the rides at Tempest4cars. They've got a selection that covers a huge spectrum and price range. Check 'em out at www.tempest4cars.co.uk Nick... Thanks for giving over a quarter million of us a new outlet for entertainment...! You rock sir. Cheers mate...!
What an extremely high quality review! With the cutaways showing the tender garage, the high-low platform submerged and its stairs popping into place, you're really showing us every possible thing we wanted to see (and I know that I and several others LOVE seeing every last bit of the boat). Thank you, Nick!
Even new engines can have problems and in a heavy swell, trying to work in a sardine can, you will really regret not opting for a crew cabin because you so comically thought it was like having s toilet on a pushbike.

Another little gem of a boat. I find myself running out of superblatives (if that is even a word) for a lot of these boats. Just love the craftsmanship that goes into them & the thought that goes into the use of space the designers must of played a lot of GameBoy Tetris back in the day. Really nice layout & pretty much perfect as a family boat. Especially like the full beam owner cabin towards the rear....

There’s a lot to like on this one, I really like the layout of the flybridge, and I love the separate Master. I’d probably go for the crew cabin, to clear up space in the engine room myself. The general layout of the boat is great. Of course it’s better because of the top quality Aquaholic Tour. Very nice boat.
Quite nice. I do like how the main cabin is separated. The engines are a touch cramped, but considering there a tender garage above it some sacrifices are needed. Over all a really nice offering.

Missed a design idea with that island. Should've made it movable on a swivel so it could be used as proper serving bar for the back social area. It looks like it's an after thought or a piece of storage that they've forgot to fit. Nice piece of kit though.
I Still think when I win the lottery, it will be a galeon 510 skydeck, but still a very nice boat. I remember picking up my new fiesta zetec S and been mega excited, just imagine going to collect your new yachts... oneday David oneday...😀🤗🥂
Hi Nick, very nice boat. question..boats in the US build during the 90 and lower, all have these small port holes for windows, large windshield back then were material for leakage. they ended up being covered to avoid leakage. All these new boats have these large glass windows, how will they (and the boat) fare in big seas? Thanks for the good presentation.
A nice boat 😁 Appreciate those corridors to the cabins are narrow but if that were my boat I’d insist on a hand rail going down to the fore and aft cabins
One of the things I like about these videos is seeing the innovative ways boat builders use the space. Love the shower on this one. Just one question: Why are you in shorts? It's the middle of winter - even in the South West.
😂🤣 I'm only guessing but it may be something to do with the magic of recording something and then playing it back at a later date, I'm only guessing though, it may turn out that Nick is just feeling very hot.😁👍
Nick -once again - fab presentation - please keep them coming - help so much with lockdown and when we are released please do more trips with Greg & Sally - do you ever go Exmouth way ? Also - pod drives with bow thruster - necessary or overkill?
That's something I've noticed in a few of your other Prestige tours Nick, squeaky decks in the lower areas (not going to hear that in a Hatteras). I love the shower stall in the forward head, and _HATE_ that little, tacked on, kitchen island. . On an unrelated note, what do you think of yesterdays (11Feb) announcement from Mercury Marine? They're filling the hole created by Volvo firing everyone at 7 Marine for the VERY high horsepower outboard segment.
@@AQUAHOLIC If you get over to the States later this year, assuming _anyone_ is traveling that is, for one of the late in the year boat shows I have a feeling there are going to be some MONSTERS to look at. One of the boats tested with 3 of the new engines was the Tiara 48 LS Nice performance numbers on the Mercury site. Another was the SeaRay SLX 400 with twins. Both are small cabin/sporty boats, right in your wheelhouse!
Great tour covering all the essentials. Nice yacht, though and you can drive the price even much higher depending on your option desires. Fantastic and USP is the tender garage option. See only one issue with this boat, its range is below the 200 miles. This is significantly less than with many other producers and keeps the owner in constant fuel anxiety when cruising.
French Boatbuilding at its best. Although I re watched Nick reviewing a san Lorenzo 122 (AWOL) yesterday and it had creaky floors also. Generally your Taiwan boats do not have this problem.
I know nothing of sailing, yachting/marine travel, or boats in general. I can't afford the lot of these vessels. Yet.....here I am 😂 watching every video Nick throws at me.

Very nice boat & very well displayed ,
Black water? A testament to the brilliance of the english language.
well priced boat.. princess should take note
Missed a design idea with that island. Should've made it movable on a swivel so it could be used as proper serving bar for the back social area. It looks like it's an after thought or a piece of storage that they've forgot to fit. Nice piece of kit though.
Very cool boat! Thanks for the tour!
Side note: I can’t understand carpeting in yachts, haha
Im watching these again because I’m dreaming of warmer weather. Its getting down to -10 Fahrenheit with -30 windchill in oklahoma.
Ouch! ❄️
Amazing tour nick, haven’t been able to watch your videos lately so watching them all now!😁
Welcome back!
I Still think when I win the lottery, it will be a galeon 510 skydeck, but still a very nice boat. I remember picking up my new fiesta zetec S and been mega excited, just imagine going to collect your new yachts... oneday David oneday...😀🤗🥂
Nice car!
If you had a brother or cousin and they did reviews on RVs instead of boats id be screwed because of the amount of time id spend watching the two
I really want to know more about the bluegame bgx70 because the reviews on UA-cam aren't as good as yours. Thank you!
Virtually all manufacturers are fitting large hull windows now, and it doesn't appear to be an issue.
A nice boat 😁
Appreciate those corridors to the cabins are narrow but if that were my boat I’d insist on a hand rail going down to the fore and aft cabins
Mate for 860k that boat sure creaks alot.
Nick -once again - fab presentation - please keep them coming - help so much with lockdown and when we are released please do more trips with Greg & Sally - do you ever go Exmouth way ?
Also - pod drives with bow thruster - necessary or overkill?
Yes, check out 'AQUAHOLIC Exeter Ship Canal' on UA-cam
Nicely paced
That's something I've noticed in a few of your other Prestige tours Nick, squeaky decks in the lower areas (not going to hear that in a Hatteras). I love the shower stall in the forward head, and _HATE_ that little, tacked on, kitchen island.
.
On an unrelated note, what do you think of yesterdays (11Feb) announcement from Mercury Marine? They're filling the hole created by Volvo firing everyone at 7 Marine for the VERY high horsepower outboard segment.
Big outboard boats seem to be the future!
Such a pretty boat, keep up the fantastic work nick!!
Thanks, will do!
Nice boat but for the price the creaky cabin floors are not acceptable.
Thought it was Nicks knees
@@seightwesty Maybe you are right 😊
@@seightwesty i hope not for nick
French Boatbuilding at its best. Although I re watched Nick reviewing a san Lorenzo 122 (AWOL) yesterday and it had creaky floors also. Generally your Taiwan boats do not have this problem.
@@seightwesty this comment just hit my laugh button and I can't stop. Thank you for a much needed laugh!!!

Great review Nick, thanks again.
My pleasure!
I know nothing of sailing, yachting/marine travel, or boats in general. I can't afford the lot of these vessels. Yet.....here I am 😂 watching every video Nick throws at me.
Thanks for watching!
How weird, just looking at this boat online, notice a you tube notification and its this exact boat being reviewed , how bizarre. Taken up mind reading have you Nick and you didn't even know it.... :)
Great video btw.
Thanks 🙋♂️🇹🇷
I love the Prestige line! Any plans to do the X70?
If I get the chance, absolutely
