This is awesome to learn to build games with my son who openly expressed he want to develop games and I am a developer. Great chance to learn new skills and build a tighter bond with my son! Thanks Tim!
More to learn here than lots of other videos combined. You are becoming one of my favorite tutors very fast. I learn fast and literally learn something new every few seconds, thanks. This is a real comment btw.
Wow, I'm gonna' need two pots of coffee to keep up with this one. What a treasure that teaching resources are available like this, I had to do the old fashioned way. We liked it way, ahhh we loved it...grrrrr "Grumpy Old Man" Dana Carvey.
Thank you, Tim! I just posted on another video a few days ago how I missed your tutorials which I find very helpful and here we are!!!! You rock, sir!!!
Wow, this is so much better then digging into books where something always goes wrong, mostly because outdated. I made it through the first game. Let's see how far I can handle this.
I’m having trouble with the first game. For some reason even after checking my code against yours for the loop the window just flickers on the off. Any ideas?
the bullets in Rain Dodge won't appear for me normally. I have to make the game temporarily stopped by dragging the app border for them to render. Do you know if this problem tied with my computer itself or there's something changed within pygame?
Quick question: Can the files for two spaceships be deposited in a virtual environment? I did that with the background in the first tutorial and it worked just fine. Now with the second tutorial I get a "file not found" error when trying to import the yellow and red spaceships.
You've gotta be kidding me. Thank you for this awesome video, though I'm not watching it yet coz I'm learning another language which is c++ also my first language coz I'm a beginner and also can't jump before I finish one but I'm adding this to my python playlist. I'm super interested in game development hopefully one day I'll make some. Thank you again for this long free video 🙋🏻♂️🧾
I am so confused in my life right now. I can't do anything in the name of mathematics apart from basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and division but I can do accounting pretty well. I am so afraid of pursuing Bachelor in Computer Science and Engineering due to being extremely extremely poor in maths. I will have to work and study in a foreign country. Should I go with Computer Science and Engineering if I know no maths and I will have to balance between classes, studying and work for 4 years.
I will like you to create a vide in how to convert Python code to exe file that can be run on any system without Python installed and also how to build a modern desktop app with Python. Thanks.
how do you get to the place you begin to code? Isn't this for beginners? It looks like you're using Visual Studio Code. Are you going to clue your beginners in to where to start coding?
