- Aaliyah and Alex Aiono collaborate in my mashup titled "Work The Middle". It features Aaliyah's hit single "Rock The Boat" from her self titled album "Aaliyah" and Alex Aiono's debut single "Work The Middle". When I first heard "Work The Middle" it's island soundscape instantly reminded me of Aaliyah's track and I could instantly see the lyrics working together beautifully so I couldn't wait to mix the two. I don't know much about Alex Aiono but from what I have seen he's a great singer and their vocals suit each other. Anyways, I hope you guys like it! Let me know if there's any other artists you'd like to see me mix with Aaliyah in the comments :)

Aaliyah and Alex Aiono collaborate in my mashup titled "Work The Middle", it features Aaliyah's hit single "Rock The Boat" and Alex Aiono's "Work The Middle". I've been obsessed with Aono's "Work The Middle" for months now and have had this idea since it first came out. Today I finally decided to finish the idea and post it. For those that may not know Alex, he's a UA-camr that posts covers and has just started posting original content, I think he's a great singer and compliments Aaliyah well. sure if it works or not, I always felt J.Holiday's "Bed" and Aaliyah's "one in a million" or "Are You that Somebody" would be a cool mash-up...I could be wrong but when I heard that song one day again I pictured Aaliyah's songs on that for some reason, but you be the judge of that haha
