Heck Yeah Ben. Boy you weren't kidding when you were telling me about all the rat crap you dug outta there. Good to see you took the necessary precautions while handling all that nastiness. Can't wait for part 2.
It's nice to see IH getting some video time. And even better hearing the truck being referred to by its proper name, " Corn Binder". I was impressed by how straight and rust free it looked.
You had me at "International". You should use a plastic scraper so you don't tear up the floor molding. We had a 66 International 3/4 Ton pickup, big straight 6 with the "3 on the tree" when I was about 12 years old...and I am 60 years old now. Great truck, the bed was completely gone so my father decided to take a welding course and offered the truck and new material as the "class project". I'm glad he had a good full time job because the welds were "sub-par". I would have turned the engine over by the crank shaft with a breaker bar after a bit to "coat" the piston housings. Can't wait for the next episode.
Great car and great engine. In the 1970s I bought a Stingray in Frankfurt from a friend who was a captain in the US Army and was my neighbor. The 427 was a damn tough car. With a new rear axle, modified gearbox, laugh, faster than any Porschen back then. The engine was rebuilt in Offenbach in a tuning workshop in Offenbach, more than 8.7 liters and over 500 hp. Super car. But only if you were single and earned good money. Honestly, next to the Alpha Montreal, which I later had, it was the fastest devil on the highway. When it was dry, easily 300 km/h (> 180mls/hr), but in the rain, every VW Beetle overtook me. Back then, the tires weren't as good as they were years later. I think it's great that you all, you, the senior, Paul, Matt, Chad, Merlin etc. are upholding an old culture, because not everything new is better than it used to be. Best regards from Frankfurt.
I use a high lift jack to break the bead on tires. Works good. Make sure you stand on opposite side of jack. Put the bottom of jack close to rim and jack it up a couple times then hit the bottom of jack soniy goes between the runner and rim
Cool 😎Content and Video a chain is better for split ring Tires or 3 piece rims Your exactly right on getting sick on Rat shit Really Appreciate your videos Thanx for sharing your experience with dam nere wrecked a lung 🫁 over moving a old truck and shed Have a Great Day 👍
I've been an International fan for over 60 years. Being a farm boy, I even learned to drive on an International Farmall tractor. Their trucks were among the best designed and most durable trucks you could buy. I'm really envious of your find because, up here in Michigan, they're almost impossible to find. I hope the next week goes fast because I'm eager to see that old beauty on the road.
Do You guys have a lot of probs with rust in Michigan? or just in certain parts of the state. I'm in Vermont in the Northeast and most old trucks here are all blown out underneath. I found a beautiful 78 Ford here and was like how is this possible it's so perfect, walked around and it still had the dealer emblem and old plate (it was from Kansas)🤣no wonder it was rust free, it had only been here 8months when I bought it. it had some barbwire fence rash on the hood, windshield and drivers fender, everything was fixable except the windshield, it wasn't even broken, but actually gouged out from the barbed wire
Heck Yea Brother, You Desert Rat’s are extremely lucky. They’re only East Coast. That truck wouldn’t have been reclaimed rusted disintegrated back into mother earth if it wasn’t turned into Toasters first. I appreciate What Your Doing & I Hope Your channel Rivals Paul One Day Because You seem Like a Great Fella. I’ll catch You on the next One, Keep It Safe Out There Sir
That is the sweetest old truck I've ever seen there's a few of them around here where I live in Central Utah but none like that I'm so excited to see the next episode I'm so glad I clicked on to this thanks for taking me along take care God bless

First you spray everything with lysol spray. Let it set a couple hours to kill all the stuff. Reapply it if necessary. Then on the tires jeeps are interchangeable with international. Break the beads using a handyman jack and a pickup bumper. Enjoy your channel.
That’s so awesome that you saved the old girl and got it running!!

Got to see the farm implement first hand at the Mt Carmel car show. You were one proud owner sharing your plans for it.
Just watching you clean the truck and I had to go shower. YIKES!!!
Pretty sure I could smell the hantavirus from here. And it annoyed the scorpion.

@@caseyrenner7024 Yeah. Rust is so common here we refer to it as Michigan cancer.
