Nutella is a hazelnut based spread with a bit of coco, it never says is a chocolate spread. That’s why is not chocolate. These foods are not overrated, their are overexposed.

Love the “cauliflower rice is NOT rice” comment! Also, when our store couldn’t get the Huy Fong sriracha, people went nuts. Then when we did get it, it had to have a 2 per customer limit because they were trying to buy it all. It was ridiculous.
I disagree with this video on almost everything that is here, especially bacon. The foods that are overrated are not on this list. And they are “nut milk (almond, soy and coconut)” and vegan patties like Beyond Burger and Impossible Burger.

There's a LOT I disagree with here. But medically speaking, avocados are higher in potassium then bananas. If you have never felt that potassium needle in your arm, appreciate avocados and eat them.

I've sworn off the stuff because they just don't know how to flavor it right without it being like throw up juice in the back of your throat after an awful barf! Haha! I fully agree about siracha due to it being mixed in to so many things like the uninvited spicy flavor you didn't want! A good way to tick a foody off is to pronounce quinoa as "Kwiy-noah"! I don't touch the stuff very often because of the high carb count it adds! Lastly, if this was taking a look back in the 80s & early 90s it would have been carob instead of chocolate and the big deal that oat bran was supposed to be!

Quinwa: Agree, but is because quinwa makes me sick, I bouch a pack of fish on a quinwa batter to fry, I got sick after eating one, later, I ate a second, but removing the quinwa, and I feel ok, so the third time, I ate one with the quinwa batter, and I got sick again. Quinwa is out of my diet. Lobster: Agree, I order lobster from Red Lobster, and I felt dissapointed that it doesn't taste any different from regular shrimp.
Here in the UK, bacon is back bacon(usually) and is not overrated. The biggest most overrated food in the UK at the moment is Avocado! it's on everything, in everything and by golly I'm sick of it! Hummus is lovely. Oysters are just like eating sea water with snot! Foie Gras is horrid!

While I find the taste of blue cheese absolutely revolting there are members of my family who adore it under the right situation. Two things: One, your statement on bleu cheese dressing and wings--absolutely correct! For some odd reason, Domino's gives away a ranch dip with them. NO! Just... no. (Thankfully, they do have bleu cheese as an alternative, but you have to specifically ask for it.) Two, I actually have a personal bit of experience where bacon is concerned. The restaurant chain Steak 'n' Shake has a sandwich called the Frisco Melt, which to this day is the best item on their menu. (Fight me, I dare you!) Anyway, I saw on their menu that there was an option to add bacon to the Frisco Melt. I decided to do that once on a whim, and I wasn't a fan of the flavor. Admittedly, what makes the sandwich so good is its Frisco sauce, which on its own is fairly strong, but the bacon managed to overpower that. I couldn't call it a Frisco Melt at that point. So, no, bacon does NOT make everything better.

Risotto is a deceptively difficult dish. It looks easy, but getting the textures and flavours to work in harmony is incredibly difficult to perfect. Italians are known for creating simple dishes that focus more on delicate flavours than the wow-factor. There's beauty in it's simplicity. So Risotto is not easy to get right, but once it happens, it'll be special.

Huy Fong Sambal Oelek Chili Paste is so, so much better than Sriracha. Any day of the week. People put sugar on grapefruit, that's where they error, you should use salt.

Cauliflower and it's relatives (broccoli, brussles sprouts, kale) are disgusting. Two things that shouldn't be on this list are dark chocolate and grapefruit; bacon is borderline.
Avocados - I've had this on a Sub Sandwich once & I honestly don't get why this is so popular. 🥑

Bacon is not overrated, but BLTs are. Ppl put 4-5 of the least expensive things together and charge you the cost of getting them all of them as a whole at the grocery store. Yes, most sandwiches are like this, but I feel these and PBJs at restaurants are the most offensive, value-wise, to purchase.

I already and always loved and liked Sriracha hot sauce because hot sauce is gonna make confidence in eating. Hot sauce is NEVER that overrated.
I'm dead sick of macaroni and cheese being on every menu. For one thing when I was growing up nobody called it mac and cheese. It was macaroni and cheese. I love bacon, truffles, avocado and mac and cheese! I'm in total agreement that everything on this list is overrated. The hype that I see about these foods is everywhere. There are certain things that even my favorite foods shouldn't be paired with IMO.
Huy Fong Sambal Oelek Chili Paste is so, so much better than Sriracha. Any day of the week. People put sugar on grapefruit, that's where they error, you should use salt.
For once I actually agree with damn near everything on this list lol. Only things I’d take off of this is mac and cheese and bacon. I’ve never heard anyone make a big deal about mac and cheese. In fact what SHOULD be here is cheese in general. Muckbangers and all those weirdos ruined cheese sauce for me. Bacon was maybe slightly overrated for a bit but no one thought all the bacon flavored things were a good idea lmao. Bacon in general is one of the absolute best pieces of meat you could possibly eat.
