Sorry to say it again Myth the song was from the lady with the baby and you missed by not lying to her. The boss you missed in the factory gave you the gesture that you needed to avoid fight with the lady stalker in the cablecar before. The game has a lot of similarity to Bloodborne with the gestures and items that help with sidequest.
I was so shocked cus i seen the vid before i got to that point and didnt hav to fight her....later i went back and she was hostile regardless 😢, had to put her ass down😮
@@chilevrises6743 There is another sidequest later on that will explain what happened to her and her friend, you need to follow one of the pictures you get from the Cypher boxes and it will give you her outfit and explain why she was in the church entrace.
When I was fighting that boss, Really taught me that perfect guard is incredibly useful, Sometimes you keep him break your enemy or boss's weapon, Reducing the range and damage
The brotherhood is so spunky. After I saw the three of them retreating I hoped really that the eldest brother would survive as well, and they would become our spunky mates. It was so sad for me to see the Oldest Brother what seems like dying, burning this bridge. I mean, it IS a soulsbourne game, and sadness is all there is.
You’ve gotta remember that the brotherhood murders and messes with corpses. However, the Red Fox and Black Cat get a happy ending. No spoilers but just be kind to the both of them ALL the time and it’ll pay off
Its so interesting watching him play this game like its just bloodborne/dark souls, I lean more into parrying and sekiro style gameplay, but i try to do both, and its so weirdly fun watching someone play the game as if the parry mechanic just doesnt exist, if i didnt know better I'd guess this is a challenge run xD
I dunno about challenge run, his playstyle is kinda boring/cheese. It kinda highlights the main problems I have with the game. It can be painfully mediocre & easy if you don't interact with the parry & kite attacks to punish. It can also be fun and challenging if you go toe-to-toe with the boss, dodging attacks and parrying.
No joke I had a dream last night that I was playing Lies of P. I didn't even plan to get the game (because I have so many other games to finish) yet now I'm contemplating.
Since you been liking the strength weapons more than the dex ones it's worth changing the ability scaling with a motivity crank to further improve the scaling of the weapon
Why do you not parry at all? It's not only very cool af, but you can also break your opponen't weapon if you parry a certain amount of times. It also increases your chance to stagger them.
This game is so much fun and I'm getting my ass kicked but the game is super addictive, trying to stagger everything and perfect block and break enemy weapons is a lot to take in so far but I'm getting that rewarding feeling after a tough enemy and dying a few times lol
@@draco2xx wdym mediocre ? the combat is pretty good and it even looks good too. unlike other 3d soulslikes. this is not one of these sOuLsLiKe where the combat is @$$. it is great gfx and artstyle , pretty good voice acting, great sound design , solid OST, intriguing story, and most importantly the combat is pretty satsifying with good hit/impact effects , interesting weapon variety etc. it is literally the best non-fromSoftware soulslike in the last half a decade
@@btchiaintkidding7837 Parry is half sec delay, boss hitboxes are not accurate (for example archibhishop boss) attacks you even though you're outside of it. It's a great soulslike game but those clunkiness, parry delay and hitboxes are annoying and it's a 7/10 game for me
Just finished the game and decided to watch myth playthrough. Man it upsets me that he really did not pick on that parry is the main focus of this game and not the dodge. Just the brotherhood fight meant something. If you you need to be far from boss all the time and occasionally get one hit, you’re doing something wrong. I hope he picked on that later as he played, because if not, he definitely missed out on dragon sword
Perfect block the boss to break his weapon. Then he does pitiful damage. For his underlings just block/backstab, the fight is well balanced because they didn't make the underlings do a ton of dmg and the actual boss does not try to fight you much when they are there.
Does anybody know what the golden Stargazer, near the graves at the start of the the Slums (close to the normal stargazer), is for? It's the only mystery I couldn't solve in my first playthrough.
I barely passed it just now, lol I don't know much about the game's lore, but I do have a theory. I'm pretty sure I heard that Gepetto did have a real son at one point, who died. Right next to that stargazer is a grave that talks about a special kid that brought blessings to the family. I think that maybe the stargazer is to help connect P to the grave in a way, meaning the kid in the grave is Gepetto's kid, maybe? But there are 2 graves next to the kids', so maybe it's not Gepetto's kid since Geppy himself is still alive. Once again, I'm not familiar with the whole game's story as I'm still on my first playthrough, but that's the connection the stargazer made for me personally. Idk why the grave message would be there otherwise.
@@LycorisLilyPI don't think that the son of an important figure like Geppetto would be buried near the slums ... Also, you got the smiling Rabbit coin from that grave ... I don't think the Black Rabbit Brotherhood would have friendly ties to anybody related to Geppetto

I know it's kind of annoying for me to say this to soul's game veteran like yourself Mythymoo but you dont dodge backwards from an overhead attack. Maybe it's the game's clunky mechanics which is making this hard for you to do if so, I won't blame you.
Did you already discover the dodge upgrade tree? You can unlock the ability to dodge twice in a row, and also to be able to roll away after being knocked down. You know, basic things you expect to already be able to do in any souls-like lol.
That criticism is blown way out of proportion. It's not needed really, if you get the perfect guard down; and it's not needed at all before you get to point of upgrades. After that, it's a choice: do you want more mobility, and blow your first upgrades on it, or do you want more healing, or more stagger, more damage, etc. If you don't want to engage in the systems the game wants you to do, (perfect guards, limited dodging) then that's fine; but it'll cost you. It's a great design choice IMO: Freedom to play how you want to, but there's a choice, a cost, to do so. Or play the way the game wants you to, and lean into that, where dodging is an afterthought.
