      The ceasar salad was named after Chef Ceasar who had a restaurant in Tijuana, México. (The restaurant is still open and they make the original Ceasar salad.) The chef made the salad to movie stars who went from Los Angeles to Tijuana to avoid the alcohol ban. The movie stars later asked for Chef Ceasar's salad back in L.A. and it spread to the world from there.

      This statement is likely to be a reference to the story of Julius Caesar's assassination and the fact that he was reportedly attacked with knives by a group of senators. The idea that he had "nothing but a pen to defend himself" is likely to be a metaphor for the fact that he was not physically armed and was caught off guard by the attack.
      However, the statement that Caesar "probably took someone's eye out with it before he went down" is not supported by historical evidence and is likely to be a humorous or imaginative embellishment. It is important to remember that historical accounts of Caesar's assassination and the events surrounding it can be biased and may not accurately reflect what actually happened.
      In order to gain a more accurate understanding of Julius Caesar and the events of his time, it is important to consider a wide range of primary and secondary sources.

    It's absolutely a shame a great man like Julius Caesar was horribly and cowardly murdered just because the Senators didn't want to lose part of their power. Sadly, this situation happeneed again numerous times during the Roman Empire. For example, Emperor Domitian (who ruled the Empire just 150 years after Julius' death) was a pretty great emperor way ahead of his time (even though he was pretty ruthless and used slaves as targets while playing archery), as he was the only emperor who solved the inflation problems Rome suffered from and also constructed a great amount of amazing buildings. However, the senators didn't like him despite the good things he did, which caused Domitian to be killed in a pretty similar way to Julius.

Additionally, Caesar's later military conquests and political rise to power might not have taken place as they did. In my (humble) opinion, calling Caesar the equal of Alexander the Great is probably stretching things a little far. He was a great conqueror to be certain. And definitely in the discussion for the Mt. Rushmore of conquerors. But Ghenghis Khan was probably closer to Alexander. In fact, Khan was probably the superior of the three.

    • @Fenix-lr6ez
      @Fenix-lr6ez 10 місяців тому +1

      Alexander is not that great. Don't know if as a conqueror he's better or worse than Caesar, but definitely is not as good as most people seem to view him

    • @gtxo2104
      @gtxo2104 8 місяців тому +1

      Na bro caesar was far superior than both. Alexander and ghenghis conquered a lot of land but those lands would instantly collapse the second ghengis and alexander died. They were conquerers but not rulers. Caesar was both, he formed the roman empire with blood which literally lasted 500+ years. On top of this his name became the literal word for king for many civilisations over hundreds of years to come. So caesar was far more influential than both alexander and ghengis, those two only conquered more land in square meters

    The reason for the assassination is cause Caesar not only disobeyed and fought The senate and conquered Gaul and crossed the Rubicon and declared war on and against the Roman Republic and after he defeated pompey nobody stood in his way but his fatal mistake was making himself an enemy against and of the senate and taking away there power over the roman republic and the Senate has been power ever since it was first declared and established and have been in possession of power since it was first established in 509 b.c after there final king was dethroned but Caesar was also changing Rome and declared himself dictator for life King and God but also his relationship with deadly Cleopatra infuriated them cause not only was she a none Roman but manipulative

    • @Yassty
      @Yassty Рік тому

      The reasons for the assassination of Julius Caesar are complex and multifaceted. Caesar's actions, such as crossing the Rubicon, declaring war on the Roman Republic, and eventually declaring himself dictator for life, made him a threat to the Senate and the traditional power structures of Rome. Additionally, his relationship with Cleopatra, a non-Roman, was seen as a threat to Roman traditions and values. The Senate saw the need to act against Caesar to protect the Roman Republic, which had been a significant source of power for the Senate since it was established in 509 BCE after the last king was dethroned. It is worth noting that historical events and motivations are often complex and involve many different factors.
