I'm very excited to share this with all of you, my updated LEDE Memento Deck Profile! I've had a luck of success with it so far and I hope y'all do too!
This is an update to the previous deck profile I posted on the channel, so we're not going as in depth, save for whats been updated!

I’ve been playing memento with Horus on ygo omega! Love the deck so far and Memento just got leaked and is coming to master duel so I’m very excited to play this deck! I love the artwork and how the deck functions thank you for the deck list🙏🏾

The Horus build is cool, I've heard other people talking about it, I just went way deeper on Hand Traps instead, Tatsu's SS restriction makes me shy about the Horus stuff haha
I play the horus engine as well and if i start with gold sarc/imsety and tatsu, I bring him out first and if I start a next starter besides witch I can go into an early gob to combo...if u start witch, I can get gob with witch then discard with kings sarc....as we play the deck more, we can combo out of any board state. this deck is A1
Even without the new support, this build is amazing! I need to try out Memento out fr, but I can't wait to see your updated deck profile soon as well! Keep up the amazing work bro 💯

not sure if you ever covered this combo but I saw it on Squiddy's channel and wanted to get your thoughts on the small Goblin package in Memento?
Special Terrortop, search Taketomborg, make Gabonga, search and special Dugg, search the Goblin ROTA, search the Memento Goblin and then detach a material to special Memento Goblin and combo. All without using a normal summon.
It sounds cool! I haven't seen that, no. I think it's a totally valid alt version of the deck, and while I prefer my more streamlined version, I think this style is also totally valid. I don't think this deck is "solved" yet, so all these different takes are very cool to see
@@keasbeytcg I like the combo but I ended up taking it out lol. It requires too many cards and bricks
Solid list hard to complain , i just find it hard to take out the pots and super polly , the pot can help you extend or going second breaking bordes digging for super polys , but i respect the list keep it up 💪🏽
I totally felt the same until LEDE. But I haven't found the Pots overly needed, this deck got VERY consistent post LEDE, and instead of the Pots, I play the TTTs and X Outs to extend and protect plays. Super Poly I think you could 100% side over the judgements if you like tho, we we have some spots in the ex deck, namely Unchained Doggo and Azelea, that can hold targets
@@keasbeytcg i agreed the pots are not needed if you going full handtrap build , but if you runing super polly the pots become much better to break borders going second , but im with you is not needed the deck flows great spr consistent im a fan keep the vids up💪🏽
@@r3pr331 honestly, it's a love hate I have with this deck. I think it's so up in the air right now and there's so many options, so for example, I don't like Super Poly, but it isn't wrong! Which is great, but also drives me crazy cause I obsess over finding every optimization haha

@@r3pr331 I haven't tested yet, but I mentioned in my react video I think 2 of each new monster. You send one fusion boi w the fusion, get the field spell, the plus when you pop him for the fusion spell.
2 sheep cause it's an amazing extender, but its also conditional, and it can't self start (granted everything is a 1.5 card combo w it), but thats my initial thoughts
I'm completely new to this deck but it really caught my eye, it's so unique and interesting, with the new support it really seems amazing, want to build this so bad

@@keasbeytcg I'm testing it on edopro now, it looks immensely compelx, but as someone who falls in love with unique/complex decks like Branded (I know not very unique, but super mega complex for sure X3) I'm nearly sure I'll end up buying this deck, I really want to learn it!
I don't think you should spend TOO much time on the INFO support since we're not getting it anytime soon, since you're the most knowledgeable about momento on youtube and they'll be alot more other yugitubers to muddle up the space with garbage videos with misinformation......

As far as INFO, I'm gonna sit and enjoy TCG legal LEDE for awhile, but I will do a bit of back burner testing for INFO too, but I'm just beyond hyped to have Fusion and Twin Dragon finally!
Plus this deck will get 2 new cards they make it a true killer the quckie fusion sheep and a lvl 9 main/Extra deck foolish burial
Love how tbe list is made and all but it can do without the crossout on main deck. Could get away with using it in side or our rights cutting it when its good playing around a good amount of handtraps.

There are absolutely hands that can play around HT, but sadly some do get shut out by one :(. But I'm expecting, at least for a bit, A LOT of Nib, and while we can totally play around Nib, we get so much more not having to worry
Have you considered playing any of "typical" super poly targets? I know that Memento Fusion doesn't use your opponents board, but the fusion materials can be used for ANY fusion, even when shuffling into the deck. I think something like mudragon or Dragostapelia are great options since mudragon can protect from targeting and mudragon can use the fusion in grave to make it, thus allowing for another negate. Just my thoughts, what do you think?
Hey! So yes, I was considering Mudragon on that front, but usually, unless I hard opened Fusion, I already played to a point where targeting my monster would be an issue. And then even hard opening it, Tatsu would be shut off. As far as Dragosta. it's not bad, it's just not viable turn one, and usually turn 3 we don't need it.
That said, the list I posted does have flex spots in the Ex or Main that you could slot in Super Poly and targets!
Next time just make sure to include the sound of an Aztec Death Whistle for the full Mictlan experience.
Only thing I find awkward with having the non starters as one ofs are if they get hit with bystials or if they are banished from runick spells. Have you ever found that to be a problem on your end? Or is it just something we should probably just accept might happen?
Part of the game dude yugioh is a casino , we cant make our decks to counter some random rogue decks playing runic ,the little mementos kinda sucks as starters
I run 2 of each of the little guys and haven't had a problem yet
It has been an issue, but an issue that running 2 doesn't solve, since they got sniped as I was attempting to get them with Angwitch during my set up. But it's also so infrequent that I prefer to stay on 1 each, just to keep the deck count low
Sadly yeah, though Goblin is ok at self starting, he's by far the weakest 1 card
2 of each is totally valid, I just try to build decks with as minimal engine as I can get away with!

Been wanting to play this deck for a few weeks now and luckily got leaked for MD
Just wanted to ask a few questions about the deck
1. With Mace and Goblin at 1, can it stop the main combo if you start with either of them in hand?
2. Have you run into any problems by playing only 1 creation? If it gets called by or crowed or any sort of banishing
And last question
3. How difficult is the deck to learn?
As mentioned, I found out about the deck a few weeks ago so now that it’s coming to MD it’s my chance to play it

So your questions...
1. Not really. Ghattic is the one that actually messes with your combos most when you open it haha. The lines are so flexible that you can work around opening the one of's. Ghattic and Goblin in the opener does get tricky tho.
2. Honestly not often. Won't lie and say it's never happened, but it's rare. Crow isn't seeing too much play atm, Called by isnt an issue turn 1, and the Earth typing makes CC immune to Bystials. But unless we're overextending, I usually have CC come down from the hand.
3. Easy to pick up, the BASIC combos are fairly linear (check out the 1 card combo video on the channel!), but more difficult to get a solid grasp on. Like I said in answer one, you can rework the lines A LOT and get to the same end point, so being able to see the weird lines or recovery plays can get tricky, but the deck rewards you for doing so.

@@Slowser Glad to hear it! The honest answer is going 2nd is a bit rough. There are hands that can power through a lot...aaaaand there are times were you just don't have it. I went heavy on HTs to compensate for that, even if we can't stop a full board, we just need to get our line started and Combined Creation does wonders breaking a semi established board

Bro. If it wasn't for our best boii Tatsu, I'd love to run a small Kash engine in this deck.
Same man, same! I toyed with a Nadir Servent package to get Sauvier (spelling that bad haha) for Imperm protection, but Tatsu complicated it, so it mostly was just a mini Winda engine that I think reduced consistency overall
How does Memento compare to the current Meta? I'm curious about the deck, but I don't know if all of the cards will be there.
It's hit or miss. It's not Tier 1 for sure, but I'd argue it's competitive. LEDE did a lot for it, but it still has problems. When it works, it's insanely strong, but it's an uphill (while still win-able) fight against Tier 1 decks
I play Ghattic at 1 too but I hate drawing it. It kills a lot of lines if you can't get it in the GY before a certain point. Cranium Burst is also a pretty bad card. If it was all monster effects I'd be great, similar to Apollousa, but it's only monster effects activated on the field, which is very sucky. I find I never get more than 1 negate out of it and more often than not, I don't even get that. It's just too easy out it, or Combined Creation making it dead. The Traps just aren't there in terms of utility and both could probably be cut once the Legacy of Destruction support releases.
Yeah it's a weird balance for sure. There are ways to finesse the combos to work it, but it's never ideal

So, Fracture Dance I have in here for now, but I'm not sure where it's going to land ultimately with INFO.
Cranium Burst I disagree though. It 110% has matchups where it does NOTHING, that's undeniable, but I feel that it averages out, and even if you get only 2 negates out of it, thats a plus. The forced battle also comes up A LOT for me personally, I lean heavy on the IP/SP/Mace lines, and having the peace of mind that my opp can't just go BP and hit over IP before I'm ready to use her is amazing. That said, if you wanted to cut CB, I'd suggest siding it, cause admitedly, yeah, there are matchups where it does very little, but I've also won games off the back of it too
I think you should play at least 2 goblin, is a 1 card combo now
It is, but it's the weakest one, and it turns into a non combo if you open Ghattic. Plus unlike Tatsu, it cant SS itself. You could run 2, but you can 100% get by with only 1, plus we have the one for one as technically a 2nd copy of it.
I dont think 2 is wrong, but I try to shave as much down as I can for a denser deck
I would argue drop the crossouts and just end on sp instead of ip like i get that ip opens up a range of potential interaction but a nib does just end it also ive been playing chimera fusion since if you do summon flying chimera you can just add it back and also it can start your plays if you open ghattic cuz it just needs a fiend or a beast
I'm testing only 1 Called and One X Out atm, Nib seems like its seeing less main deck play than expected anyway which is nice. Chimera Fusion is cool, but it feels slightly win more too me, but I'd have to test it
@keasbeytcg yeah the chimera fusion is really just more chances to get to twin head if I can't add memento fusion
@@MrAlakazam1000 It's a cool idea for sure! I actually thought about a single vanilla Poly early on tbh for similar reasons (I kinda conceptualized this deck like Prank Kids haha), but I went more streamlined
@keasbeytcg oh dude at one point I was thinking a patchwork engine cuz chain is a fiend and there's a point in the combo where you can bring back horse and it doesn't really do anything so you could go flying chimera and hand rip on top of the momento combo
@@MrAlakazam1000 I actually have him in the Ex Deck haha. It doesn't come up terrible often, but once inwhile if I get HTed, can play, and have TTT, I'll switch my line to start w full knowledge and my opp on a 3 card open haha

2 Mementolan Fusion? So not only is your video editing still incredibly obnoxious, the little sources on this deck available are running questionable amounts of the best spell in the deck. Do you understand how many decks wish they could have a quick play fusion with a GY that you can use in the same turn that’s a spell/trap rota?
