i've just thought of this but where you taped off the 'weld' you could post painting, do beads of glue along the line in a weld formation so to speak then obviously prime tape and then paint etc.. could make for a nice weld look effect?.. keep up the great work dude..

The idea of incorporating parts design/aesthetics from bikes was an idea of mine too. Cool video, and I miss riding! Can't decide when I have the money again if I should get a street legal bike or go back to getting my feet wet in club racing and this time around, get a r3 or ninja 400 so I can afford to race!

You may not need every outlet you dedicate real production time to, just make those you keep that much better. Just by cutting loose the least satisfying stuff. If it's not fun for you, it really isn't fun for most of us to see you 'force it'. Come down south for a bit, I'll be delighted to hide you out.

Nice technique. I start from yellow and coat the whole area before laying in the blue and purple. It gives the purple a slightly sooty look which is pretty cool.
