Quick note: you have to have beaten all Alpha ascentions, all notes, max chibi, all runes, then beat alpha Fenrir and then reach level 190. Thats a lot to do for thors hammer

The length of the video is fine if a tad on the long side. It flew past as it was pretty engaging. Your engagement with the mic and the fluidity of in-game play makes for a good watch, and always happy to see it right to the end.

Love the video. I tad long, but I enjoyed it. This first video has an SOTF feel to it - the very beginnings of an ark gameplay are often the most fun to watch - at least for me and my husband. Amazed by ability to beat a a rex and an alfa in first hour with no special tools and without strong animals.

Damn Steve, that's a crazy place for creature attacks... I picked the gold tower because its central, near the portals, flat and has a natural bridge that fits a behemoth gate
Loving the difficulty curve of this map. Feels old school ark. New festures and easy new tames but the first few days you even got to worry about being food for everything. Let slone the weather being s pain 8hrs of your day. Love this map and i am a ragnarok fan boy Personally enjoy less cut videos.
1 hr are great length episodes. Short enough that I don't have to ditch out then come back to it (I know that kills YT algorithm, but real life happens) Your classic nonchalant voiceover dealing with Alpha raptor then a Tek Rex 🙂 Only a game, but it made me smirk.

I've got a sweet spot on a plateau with one bridge blocked off with a behemoth gate. Absolute ton of Rex activity all around that area so hoping i can tame a few once i've worked up the base. Always enjoy your content nooblets, great first episode mate!

I've just recently found you. One of the best explainers when I need to get the basics. But damn dude, use shortcuts, like T to transfer, O to drop, E to eat from inventory while hovering on food, A to craft all. And use search for crafting.
Steve have you ever considered doing hardcore mode. I gotta say, it would be an epic ending with your franchise to put all your ark experience to the ultimate final test. I mean after all. 72k+ people love you man. What do you have to lose other than your final life :P

I like long videos the longer the better for me. I also like to watch all the boring parts of collecting things. I just like to chill out and see everything
I always love the your videos when they are longer and you show everything you are going through. And just FYI, if you go up the edge of the cliff you will come to a natural bridge that leads to a nice area with a cave.
The canoe is something I always use, it's not as versatile as a raft but I can pick it up and it costs less resources (very useful for early crossings to places like herbivore island)
I always have liker watching Nooblets, the taming tutorials especially are some of the most helpful things I've ever seen, but... Every time I watch Nooblets, I feel ever so slightly more insane because aberration is my favourite map. The stones aren't actually hard or find at all if you know the general areas they can spawn at Also Steve actually passes my base spot at 10:26. In the location the rex was, if he turned 90 degrees or so to the left, he'd see the walkway uo to it (I'm on PvE, Idc about strategic locations). It's a terrible spot to start, get some turrets, velonasaur, or plant species X to fortify it first, because rex, rapties, argies and more drop down, and yesterday I got to deal with an alpha raptor. My plant species X ruined it
10/10 Aberration is the king. Every other map is like, outside, with the sun and stuff, flyers dominate. In ab it was far more vertical and you actually had to earn that progression.
@@SetsunaInfinite I KNOW RIGHT Plus the design and lore is really well done, the red zone is actually a dangerous place that makes you scared to be in it, you get the idea

The Wildlife really wants to get to know you. My Base is in the cave in the other side of the little mountain/island. It's a little less popular and comes with a lot of metal an water. 😺
You have an amazing voice, I watch a lot of your guides on taming, it's very relaxing despite the content sometimes hehe. Also the fact that you not only killed an alpha but a Tek Rex all within the first episode is super awesome, I can tell you are really good at this game. I am not so I often just suicide run to lead the big carnivores away hehe. Would love to watch more of this as well as some taming stuff would be really neat to see you in action. I like to see what folks tame first as it tells a lot about the playstyle I feel like. My first tame is almost always a couple dodos.

agreed, plus its easy to skip thru the grind parts anytime i want. Id rather have them and not want them than want them and not have them.
There is a nice decent size cave north of the location you picked with water and a spot for an oil pump
I loved the cartoon- like opening the door, seeing the alpha raptor and immediately closing it again
Your videos are the best, my kids and I watch them for the best information and entertainment
