Flintknapping a Jakie Point and the Early to Middle Archaic Period Transition

Long ago during the Early Archaic period transition to the Middle Archaic period, changes were occurring in ancient Indigenous American's settlement patterns, foodways, and technology. In this video, I discuss the archaeology of this transition during the Ozarks and flintknap a Jakie point, made by people living during the terminal Early Archaic and initial Middle Archaic.
