i live in a muslim country but i study in a univ where the muslims there are the minority. it opened my eyes about diversity, as someone who grew up as the majority! almost all my friends are nonmuslims but it's okay. i used to worry about having no friend to pray with, but turns out praying alone is so calming and peaceful after spending a long day with people. it gave me some time to breath and rest.
