- Elizabeth Ann Seton was born to a wealthy family in New York in 1774. Growing up she had desire to help the poor and would go on to found the Sisters Of Charity, establishing schools, orphanages and hospitals.
As part of EWTN News InDepth's report on the Elizabeth Seton Children's Centre in Yonkers, New York, Colm Flynn speaks to two Sisters of Charity who are board members of the centre, Sr. Carol Barnes and Sr. Dorothy Metz.
