But uh… Mufasa actually looks way better than the 2019 Lion King remake, given a) the environments seem more lively, b) the color grading and cinematography looks more properly lit, c) the animals can express proper emotions this time, d) it’s an original story, and e) the unexpected X factor of Lin Manuel Miranda doing the original songs for the movie, too.
Looks like Barry Jenkins is gonna make a breakout hit of this movie that shouldn’t be underestimated.

@@christianschoff2490 I don’t think they’re retconning it, TBH. The original never said Mufasa was born of royal blood nor that Scar and Mufasa were blood brothers, so I feel like this will confirm that.
@@goldsearcher7606 it was previously established that there a bunch of kings before Mufasa and that when Mufasa was chosen as King, Scar became the leader of the Lion Guard.

Honestly this looks better than the first one. Their faces shows much more expression, the color grading looks more creative than realistic, and the rendering looks great. Hopefully this is better.
Mufasa was adopted into the pride that scar was the heir of. This is story as to how Scar lost that right and how Mufasa gained it

Despite some people’s preconceived notions, I honestly can’t wait for Mufasa: The Lion King cause not only do I love The Lion King franchise but this is my number 1 most highly anticipated movie of 2024. BTW, the ones complaining about this movie (though there’s nothing about it to complain) are more than likely the same ones that’s been asking about a movie about Mufasa & Scar’s origin. The fact that Disney did it, though it’s live action/CGI is good enough for me.
It is about time we got a trailer for this. I was not the biggest fan of The Lion King 2019 either, however, I am hoping this movie will discuss Scar and Mufasa closer. The visuals also look sooo good. I know I will check this out when it comes out. However, I probably will be watching Sonic 3 first, which is releasing the same day,
Here’s the thing: The Lion King 2019 was ok, the visual effects for the animals was so realistic and very good, but I wouldn’t consider it a “live action remake”. The effects were made on a computer and there was no real live action. It’s basically another cartoon film, just made in a realistic way.

Вот погляди на небо, оглянись туда, это и отражалось на небе именно лицо Муфасы. Вот и он говорил: сын мой, отомсти за меня убей от шрама. Он сказал, что я обещаю тебе, я убью его шрама, он вернулся шрам, конечно, был против тебя же изгнали, зачем ты сюда пришёл, потому что тебе отомстить за своего отца, я пришёл он стал драться с ним. Говорит ничего, говорит, какие силы говорит у тебя всё-таки сам именно Муфаса направляла им в этот момент и. Просто направляла, пытался ему помочь убить его, и это произошло, и премия приобрела нового. Нового наследника. Сам встал на престол. Сам Симба. И он стал на скалу, и все, ну около скалы столы все львицы поднялись за ним, и они были счастливы, что появился такой у них вождь главный в семье. На этом фильм заканчивается в дальнейшем будет другая уже судьба-рассказ или другое кино.

Awesome reaction Tessa agreed the 2019 Lion King remake is the worst Disney remake. I think people are being too generous to this trailer just because Barry Jenkins is directing doesn't mean it will be any better than Lion King 2019 other Disney remakes have had talented directors and have sucked. Lion King deserves better than this for it's 30th anniversary!
I'm giving it a chance because I want Barry Jenkins to cook. It has a little bit more animal expressions, unlike the horrendous 2019 remake. I would've love it more if it wasn't photorealistic 3d cgi animation. Let's see. I think it has potential to be good.

I dig this i am more intirgued with his backstorey then just remaking a movie that was already done.
Уфаса для меня остался, наверное, единственное, которое настолько меня вдохновляло во всё это самое настоящее кино, из которое про животных, про Африку, их много животных всех и самое-самое интересное. Что семья интересная 7, они мечтали о наследнике, это эти двое мечтали о наследнике, чтобы был настоящий наследник и вдруг о чудо эти 2 обезьяны, они были главные из всех, которые вожди. Наследник и поднял это 1: обезьяна подняла на лапах, подняла наследника и сказала: "вот родился наследник Муфаса, он так его и назвал, назвал его муфасой". А шрам это был вообще такой, что он был против всех наследниковались, он хотел править все-все всей этой жизнью Муса, как раз рост был таким маленьким ребёнком тоже постигал. Старался везде быть во внимании постигал всё, что там происходит, его была именно такая жизнь, что. Он просто рос на глазах. Он взрослел. Вот вырос уже взрослым фаса. Встретил молодую девушкуую женщину, ну будем так называть львицу красивую, интересную. Вот они друг друга полюбили, они друг другу нравиться начали. И никто даже, но она мечтала, чтобы всё-таки родился наследник ещё 1 вот. Родился. Наследник не так же 1 из. Поддерживаю это вождь, это самый настоящий вождь, это не просто обезьяна, это вождь, вождь поднял над головой своей, поднял ещё 1. Наследника, и они назвали его Симба. Симба тоже был неуклюжий такой льёнок, он прятался от семьи, постоянно убегал попадал в разные ситуации, то в реку упадёт со скалы живой, оставался ничего с ним, не произошло, не произош ничего не произош, ничего не произош, ничего не произош, ничего не произош, ничего не произош. А всё время он непослушный, немного был в других семье, родилась ещё и девочка, которая они потом подружились вместе и общались постоянно, вот. Вместе они гуляли около скалы, гуляли, а там постоянно собаки, вот эти вот лесные собаки постоянно за ними следили, как бы пока из них это Африка, это. Африка-это жизнь, что там происходит от настоящей жизни, там много интересного, там столько много интересных моментов, как это всё происходит, как там всё это описывается, это история, вот. Наконец-то растёт сам Симба становится подростком. Ну вот и всё время случаются постоянно стечки вместе с шрамом и муфасой, так что он никак не хочет, а шмом, потому что он уже старый, совсем он никак не хочет, чтобы наследник стал его сын. Постоянно против этого Симбы, постоянно против. И вот это всё-таки уже сам Симба подрос, ему надо как-то уже куда-то где-то жить 1, вот и он слышит, что там происходит. Не он понял, что, а сам он даже сам услышал, что там постоянно твердит, этим собакам твердит этот ашрам. Он говорит, нам Симба не нужен, постоянно говорит об этом Симба, это услышал. Да неужели я никому не нужен? Он понял, что ему надо уходить. И сам этот, а шрам его изгнал с Симбы из стаи. Он понял, что он не нужен никому здесь. И он решил уйти в другой лес. А в другой лес жить по-другому. Вот и он ушёл в другой лес, а там самые интересные двое таких знаменитых товарищи, которые всегда пели акуна матата Тимон и Пумба. Они постоянно о чём-то спорили бы постоянно, о чём-то общались, вот и постоянно вот у них что-то такое происходило. Вот только появился сам, сам внутри у леса, появился лев, который и на сам Симба, появился он уже вырос такой, такой уже более-менее взрослый стал. Эти все шли, шли и болтали, общались. И вдруг увидел завидев этого Льва, они перепугались, сразу спрятались такие попрятались оба. Вдруг загрызёт я никого не обижу от вы в шоке, как это так вдруг загрыз, да нет-нет, никого плохого не сделала, мне надо 1. Хотя бы привыкнуть к этому миру, ну и всё-таки. Решился жить с ними, пытаться, как они есть этих червяков, а там беда в семье происходит у них.

So most of you are not awhere of the lore behind The Lion King, but in the late 1990s there were these 6 adventure books Disney put out and one of them gives you the lore to both Scar and Mufasa's origin called Two Brothers. Both Scar and Mufasa are born to the royal couple King Adahi and Queen Uru. Mufasa takes characteristics after King Adahi and Scar takes characteristics after Queen Uru. Mufasa gets his King lessons from his father and Scar was often seen negulated by his dad and that is why he resents Mufasa a lot, and he was close to his mother. That book gives you a better understanding the contrast between Scar and Mufasa. But I guess now it is not canon according to Disney because Mufasa is now a rouge outsider and takes the crown away from Scar. Geee I kind of have empathy towards Scar now of a rogue taking his rightful crown away from him. I would be angry and want Mufasa dead too if someone an outsider takes away my birthright too...topsy turvey world we live in when someone who doesn't know the history behind this story and mess it up completely.

I still think Mufasa's parents have a lot to answer for - they literally named their firstborn son "King" and his younger brother "Trash". No wonder Scar had a huge chip on his shoulder.

I'm actually wondering why Donald Glover and Queen Bey are in this. Is Rafiki telling the story to Simba and Nala? If so, then I guess it's fine, but... I'm kinda more interested in Rafiki's narration and seeing Mufasa's backstory. And I think Scar will probably be shown in the first full trailer. Not that I'm gonna watch the full trailer, mind you. I'm just tired of these full trailers revealing more footage. I'd rather be surprised than spoiled, y'know what I mean?
I heard that they are making Mufasa an Orphan.....like really?? I guess the story is gonna be about him loosing his parents in a flood and he went rouge and found scar as a cub and grew up and took over pride rock. It just seems off to me im pretty sure we all had a idea of how Mufasa was raised but him being a Orphan was never one for me
With the animals being more expressive and it being an “original” movie, I have high hopes!!!

I see your point, the cry of "Why tho?" has been on my lips after seeing a lot of sequels and prequels trailers a lot, the last few years. Will people watch this? Yes.
Will it make money? Maybe . But I never asked for this and so I'll most likely not watch it , as I have done with most of the live action remakes.
Just like with Star Wars, where I just watch the old stuff and been buying up the audible versions of the Star wars Legends books Disney has been re-releasing (Give us the Thrawn Trilogy Mickey you coward!!! 🤣😆) , I'll stick with the animated Lion King films and the Lion Guard show, when I need my fix of Lion King.
If enough people who I follow and trust says it's a great film and should be watched, then that's what Disney Plus is for. 😉
Thats the issue when a remake happens. People aks for original they give people something more original yet they qre not please. But when something totlaly new comes out it either sucks or its good but does not get the support. Lol

Yeah idk I'm mixed on this like this is beautiful graphic wise but we don't need this the original Lion King is a classic and I also love the direct to DVD sequel Simba's Pride and The Lion King 1/12 so i might go watch this movie but in the long run personally I'll stick with these animated gems

tell me about it & so did the first one. a 3d version was all it needed. my brother & i r twins & we were born in 94 when it came out. im always gonna be thankful that the 3d version let us see it in theaters. when we saw it everybody stood up & clapped at the end. that was all it needed. i found some scene comparisons & the 94 original kicks its ass but i never saw the rest of it, probably never will & im never seeing this crap either
@@popsingerstar have you ever seen Legend of the Guardians: Owls of Gahool? I think it shows a lot how much better the whole 3D animated animals thing could be used with more creativity. It's also just really good. Like UNDERRATED as hell.
