When Red Velvet debuted, I felt like they were missing a member, and now when you watch performances of happiness with Yeri it just looks cleaner and complete, especially when Wendy is singing the bridge as she looks far better centered and the arm swap movement is more even

(If there are others I didn't mention, I'm sorry) Also, creating choreos for kpop is a group effort. Choreos can be altered or changed for the group depending on what they need or are looking for. Sometimes ideas from many different choreographers are mixed to create the final product. Having that in mind, I don't know how much these choreos were changed or if Kyle did choreograph the whole dance (not changed at all/original). If anyone knows please share the info!!!
I love how you look at more stuff in choreographies. I’ve seen so many videos like these and all I get are “This one’s the worst because it’s boring.” or “This one’s the best because it’s not awkward.” etc. I like how you look at execution, transitions, etc.
Hi! I was wondering if you could maybe add a small description or sumn of what is meant by effects, air work, independent moves and the other terminologies. As a non dancer, I find myself lost from time to time when I see you using these terms in your explanation... Your videos are great anyway!! Love them

If you look at the pinned comment, you’ll see that she (the UA-camr) genuinely forgot about RBB but still gave it a score (#11). In the video (and in another comment), she stated that she didn’t include Psycho because there has been only performances with 4 members instead of 5 and she felt that if she used the performance video, it wouldn’t be fair to the dance (which I get, the performance video focused a bit more on the members than the actual dance).
CheeseDoggy No. I think she made another comment stating that the reason why she didn’t do Psycho was that there hasn’t been a clear OT5 version of the choreo and she didn’t want to use the performance video because of the camera work. Hopefully we get an OT5 ver. soon!
I know One of These of Nights isn’t really dance heavy, but I expected some ranking since the dance parts Irene Seulgi and Yeri did are pretty unique and cool.

I really cannot be bothered to care about people who say Red Velvet need harder choreos. SM girl groups have always focused more on their vocals. JYP girl groups focus more on concept and YG girl groups... This heavy focus on choreography is a 3rd gen thing probably starting around Gfriend debut??
My favorite choreo is Dumb Dumb! I find it so creative and unique and the last minute is one of the best part. My least favorite is probably Russian Roulette, the first time i saw it i was so (and still am) disappointed by the (too) simple choreography (especially the chorus) BUT after the bridge it gets better and saves the whole thing for me.

And their concerts show this Musical kinda of style, the girls change the most repetitive choreos like red concepts ones, and change music genres like Ice Cream Tango version!!! And the Seulrene duo shows how they can DO hardcore dark choreos and tutting/vogue The opportunies are endless for ot5 comebacks now that Wendy is back, but I prefer a slow down song bc she aint stable yet Plus, some members HATE the repetitive choreos of older songs and prefer peekaboo or sunny side up kinda
