Kintaro is now able to take a nap by himself, but he still wants to be spoiled by his mother Genki once in a while.
Gentaro and Kintaro were playing and again father Momotaro scolded them. They must have been making a lot of noise.
Gentaro was napping by his adoptive father's side listening to his conversation.

He is hesitant in new situations and is a loner.
His father died before he was born, and he had never spent time with a silverback.
He had already turned into a silverback by the time he was 10 years old.
He is struggling with unfamiliar child-rearing.

Mother GENKI ♀ (1986/6/24)
She is 14 years older than Momotaro and has a role to support the whole family mentally.
She has had a tumultuous and eventful life.
She has returned to her birthplace, Kyoto City Zoo.
She had never been blessed with a baby but after meeting Momotaro,
she had two sons.
She is a very maternal female gorilla.
GENKI's father is MAKK.
GENKI's mother is HIROMI.
First son GENTARO, male (2011/12/21)
He was separated from his mother Genki soon after he was born.
Genki's milk production was not very good.
He was raised by his keeper for his first10 months.
Because of this, he is very fond of humans.
His face is so expressive, and everyone enjoys watching him.
Second son KINTARO ♂ (2018/12/19)
He is just very strong-willed and independent.
He has big eyes and long eyebrows.
The way he plays a lot with his brother Gentaro makes everyone smile.
We can't wait to see what kind of gorilla he'll become!

Wel, some English speakers misunderstand that the whole voice in the video is created by AI. It can't be true. All is my real voice. As you notice, my English is not perfect. If it were to be AI, they would be able to pronounce English well unlike me. haha

Thank you GL, even though Kintaro is growing into a big boy he is still Genki's baby. Gentaro's human foster father must feel proud of how strong and healthy his foster son has become, he did an amazing job raising Gentaro from birth to ten months old and then successfully introduced him back to his biological parents, Momotaro and Genki.

@@jagdish4125 True - Gentaro missed out on the first 10 1/2 months of life with his mother. He missed the bond between them as he was unable to nurse since she was unable to produce milk at the time, but if you watch videos from the time of his reintroduction to Genki - you will see that she slept with him, carried him on her front leg and back, and fussed over him. There are videos of Momotaro coming over to look at him and Genki holding on to Gentaro so that his interaction with dad did not include touches. There are scores of videos of Momo and Gentaro playing, wrestling, running, and chasing each other. I have a picture of a 3-year-old Gentaro standing in the middle of Momotaro's back when they were wrestling. When Kintaro was born, Momotaro spent a lot of time with Gentaro while Genki was attending the new baby.
It is true that Momotaro wasn't as active with Gentaro after the age of 8 as other silverbacks are with their children. As you probably know, Momo's dad died prior to his birth, and he had no silverback to emulate. I have always thought that since Momo did not experience the interaction with an adult male in his own life, he did not know how to interact with an older gorilla son.
I believe that Gentaro received much love from Genki, and as much love and interaction as Momotaro knows to give. 🦍

Genki and Kintaro seem to take comfort from being close and napping together. It speaks to a strong bond, and a level of emotional awareness and affection toward each other.
He’s an overgrown infant and a little momma’s boy. Will that give him the foundation to be a great silverback and leader of a troop when he gets older? Momo was raised the opposite.

Momo was a lonely fellow and didn't have the experience to be a good adult, but he learned. In the wild they live in larger troops and learn from each other. Gentaro and Kintaro are luckier than their Dad was in living as a family.

Gentaro’s foster father must feel proud when he sees the big gorilla he carried and nurtured as a baby. He, too, must have concerns for Gentaro’s future and most likely wants to see him with a family of his own.
His foster father watches over him every single day.

Genki, after treatment, is fluffy and very pretty! I watch it with pleasure and perceive it as the adventures of a family of four - dad, mom and two children, one of whom is a teenager with his own problems! (not like gorillas, like people)😂❤❤
Beautiful to see the affection Genki has for Kintaro and Gentaro. They have emotional awareness and intelligence. I love Momotaro. Genki is patient with him and he is growing. His children helped him alot in terms of socialization. It is endearing to see him sit with his feet on the tire.

ゲンタロウは養父の声を聞いたら気分が落ち着くかな。長尾さんは｢～だね！｣とか、よく笑っていてほがらかな感じ。声を聞いたらすぐに分かりますね。
今日は、画家のあべさんが来てました。モモタロウ家族を描く有名な画家さんです。あべさんと長尾さんが結構、長い時間話されていました。途中から安井さんも合流されていたので、かなり豪華なメンバーで会話されてたことになります。
長尾さん、安井さんが並んで会話してる場面は普段はまず見ないです。

Meus dois amores Kintaro e Genki, é normal Kintaro gostar de ficar junto com a mãe, esse fato não vai determinar se ele vai ser um Silverback digamos pior que os outros, ao contrário, ele vai ser um bom companheiro e pai, Kintaro é um garotinho independente, determinado, destemido, ousado, não acho que ele é filhinho de mamãe, ele precisa aproveitar bastante a companhia desta mãe extraordinária, porque os gorilas crescem rápido, são levados para outro País e nunca mais encontram os pais, é triste, na natureza não é sempre assim, já vi trpas com Três machos adultos convivendo em harmonia, eles se protegem, as fêmeas não são roubadas por outros machos. @@Beruthiel45 I agree, and thank you for saying so. In the wild, a young gorilla remains close to its mother through the age of 6 even sleeping in the same nest at night. After that the youth stays in the same troop until it's time to leave for mating purposes.
It seems Kintaro is right on track with his wild cousins, and with his brother, Gentaro, who slept near his mom up to the night before Kintaro's birth.

Yes, this is GL’s actual voice! He speaks English as a second language… AI would not sound like this at all. If you’ve ever seen any of his live broadcasts, his voice his very recognizable.
