    You don't even have to cut the whole picher, the bottom half is still alive and able to provide nutrients for the plant. These are good sacrifice pichers for osmocoat feeding.

    Sooooo... I bought a garbage pitcher plant from Home Depot because there was a native tree frog in it. The employee graciously offered to throw the frog into the parking lot but I declined so I could find it a proper release location. So now I have this pitcher that looks like total shit. Replanting options? Soil mix? Not sure if you covered it in a video but I did try to browse the answer. Any advice would be great!

    Hi! My pitcher plant is over 2 yrs old. I live in a sub tropical climate. The darn thing is HUGE now and hanging a few feet in every direction from the pot. How do I trim it back and keep it looking good and staying healthy??

      You can make cuttings and make sure to research how to do stem propagation
