The close-up shots of the different mice (especially the sides) really helped me to see the differences between them, very good idea!
Thanks for the review. This is a definitely a contender for my next mouse. I've had a GPW/GPX for the past few years but have recently wanted something smaller and lighter. Depending on reviews and community reception I was considering the ULX but it's not only far more expensive than this but also difficult to acquire in the UK.
Next drop for ulx is 9 December btw
I'm getting the maya over the ULX just because of the price point, and I heard the coating on the maya is premium as it gets.
I got Atlantis mini 4k after GPX and I consider it a major upgrade.
@@yeoldeguard are you still got the latency problem or is good now?
This review and especially the way you show size and curvature differences are excellent. Keep up improving and meming!
Ive been holding off for this for ages, couldnt put it off any longer, settled on the atlantis mini and after months of no news and 2 days after my mini arrived....this video drops
Very good quality video, thanks for demonstrating that mouse.
I'm using a CoolerMaster MM720, which is so perfect grip-wise for me. I wonder why absolutely no one tries that kinda shape, oh well.
same goes for the Corsair M65 shape, imagine a super light version of it.
you know the X2H exists ?
Due to the looks, people often misunderstood the way the shape's function for your hand
@@sNiPeR95PwnZ
I used MM710 for years and I immediately fell in love with my X2H, so desperately wish there were more mice with similar shapes. (And maybe even an ergo mouse with a high back hump please???)
love this mouse!
Awesome review, thanks for covering the Maya. It's also on my radar and good that I waited and didn't pull the trigger earlier on the Lamzu Atlantis Mini Pro. I think I might consider buying that one, soon.
I got the Lamzu maya in cloud grey and love it great mouse
Loved the shots with fade in fade out for shape comparison, especially the one with side buttons in it
, love the content production value though the roof with those shots, but please stay hidrated king 👑
Please remove the plastic film/protection from your weight scale screen, before I go completely insane. Love your videos, BTW.
I find this mouse strangely attractive. Thanks for another superb video.
Whoa, someone upped his editing game in this one? Looks good! I impulse pre-ordered, a bit worried it’s going to be too small for me.
Which switchdo you think has the best click feeling for you? Lamzu Huano Blue Shell Pink Dots or the Omron Optical Switches from the Ninjutso Sora 4K?
Omron optical
@@DiamondLobbyReviews thats good to hear, im now going for the sprime pm1 mouse as soon as it releases
Frakin' excited to get this in my hands
Same. Has real end game potential for me honestly, and I own a lot of mice
mechanical>optical because you can swap them out with a ton of different type of switches to your own liking.
The Sprime PM1 (G703 inspired shape) is now available for pre order btw for 120$ 😘
is the wrist tat a bioshock reference?
Thanks for the review ! Being stuck on a G305 I really need somethng new
Bow Big Is Your Hand?
Does the Imperial Red have the same chalky coating as the Charcoal Black, as found on the Atlantis?
I’m not sure what it is about red coatings but I can assure you no matter what brand I’ve tried a red mouse in they feel to slick. However just like the LAMZU Atlantis mini. The black and off grey for the mice feel much better, honestly the best of any mice I’ve (which is a lot. I have large hands and long finger and this mouse works perfectly for my relaxed claw grip. Honestly one of my favorite shapes to date. So size of hand isn’t exactly a way to say whether it will suit you, it’s a little too nuanced. Amazing review though as always!
Yea thats the case with this mouse lineup, the colours all have different coatings. I havent had the opportunity to hold the red one but my friend has the black one and i have the white one. The black is by far the grippiest but the white is sort of chaulky middle ground.
@@darbstre2900 red feels like a black gpx if youve ever held one. also more grippier than a magenta gpx
I love the maya it's near perfect for me. I just hope they slightly increase the size with a medium-large because it's a fraction 2 small.
I have the Atlantis mini and I'm finding it just a bit too small for me. Could you compare it to the mini ?
@@gabrielzuniga3129 it feels very close in size. The only difference I really feel is the hump at the back fills the palm with no gaps.
I feel like I'm in the same boat as you. Size is off by mm's. If you can send it back give it a go it's an amazing mouse but size is just a tiny bit to small.. for me atleast.
Is it a good mouse for pincer claw?
Already waiting for it, expectations high - it will take up to 4 days to arrive plus the weekend, as my Atlantis Mini 4kzh as my Thorn are highly loved and often used, both undoubtedly on my to top 10 or top 6, only, for my use and like, on pair in distinct ways, with my Vaxee Zyxen NP-01S W, the Logitech GTX 2, and the Razer Viper V2 Pro and DAV3 Pro. I do like optical switches and I see it as an improvement in the ones of the thorn compared to the atlantis mini 4k. I'll wait to see how the new Huano's mechanical switches behave; hope is not a backstep. In all cases, I'm sure I'll strive with this mouse which also seem to have a great design and size regarding how I do like mice (for instance, the DAV3 pro is for me a better mouse regarding internals - sensors and switches, but in shape it would be perfect with some cms less in size for my liking). Great image angles from the mouse during the video. Cheers.
Oh, god, they made now the rest of the people ask for a big version! :P
How is the scroll wheel after some use? Does the scroll tend to "rest" in between notches, only to skip to the nearest notch when you flock or somthing like this? ... Yes, im one of them who jump with the scroll wheel, wich is why i love the vaxee scroll wheels, wich everyone seems to hate
I've been using mine daily since it came out and I have some slight grinding on the scroll wheel, it's def not a deal breaker but is a tad annoying at times.
Damn I wish you had a viper mini or even cobra to do a size comparison I feel like most people interested in this are wanting a good alternative to the mini
gonna buy one but i doubt itll top my x2h mini
Someone ask Logitech "G703 Superlight when?" for the 1100th time please.
I've been waiting for years. I really can't understand what Logitech is doing (not doing). It's just crazy.
I'm asking for a g305 superlight.....don't particularly care about the brand, just the small egg shape around 60g. No1 seems to be releasing anything like that.
Sprime PM1 coming soon,next month
As a palm-gripper with large hands i just wished the industry would go the opposite direction and include more xl mice :(
Atlantis and thorn are good enough imo and Lamzu is dropping a new mouse that’ll have hot swappable switches and shell
@@damagedjefff I guess how that will work with mouse weight balance...
Can bloody abedless double, triple or quadruple click
What are the click latency specs?
Hello, nice review! ty so much! 19X10 for claw grips, its ok for this mouse?
i have same hand size and own the mini and the maya, feels more comfortable on the maya (relaxed claw), and the coating (on the black version) is excellent, it just stick to the hand, you can def go for it
Hey,
How does this compare to model o- in terms of comfort, shape?
It feels slightly wider and slightly taller, otherwise pretty similar.
What is his hand size?
I'm in the market for a new gaming mouse budget 150 usd what mouse should i get?
I'm still waiting for the Xlite v3 mini, I want to try an ergo.
You should try the thorn or a vaxee
Thank you for the great video, Im already hyped for this mouse! I would have a question tho, what are your experiences with this mouse battery-wise? Thank you!
how does it compare against the sora 4k overall ?
They’re completely different shapes so it’s not really reasonable to compare them
@@BigBoss549 completely different?according to eloshapes I find them pretty similar...
@@BigBoss549 agree. Sora's shape is not for me, for instance. I "work" better with other shapes, still a great mouse for those prefering such shape. no hands are equal ;)
@@Maddog-xc2zv yeah. I prefer my mice with center humps and it’s similar in size to the Xtrfy M8 which I use so I decided to preorder and see if the Maya will replace it
@@BigBoss549 did you end up liking the maya? i also like center humps and ive been thinking of trying this after my superlight
my hands like 17.7 cm can i hold maya like palm grip or not ?
2:54 quite down, man... Logitech might hear us once again asking for that G703 Superlight, more and more unlikely that they won't make it lol
my guy, u gotta try out the garuda eagle 1, it got a 3395 sensor and is wireless and is 54 grams without the usb dongle only $30+
expensive dongle (guess the 4kzh hyperpolling rate) compared to basically half the price of lamzu 4kzh dongles...
Maybe it's one of the best mice, but not the best. Today we have several excellent mice.
We can say that it is one of the best. But not to forget the GPW2, the Lamzu Atlantis itself which has the same characteristics as the MAYA, the Thorm, the impeccable Vaxee Zygen NP01s wirelees, the competitive line from Zowie (which I personally don't like) - the Stormbreaker, the Sora4k that I tested and I thought it was fantastic (I'm using it).
The pulsar x2v2 line and now the competitive models and the xlite v3. The G Wolves 4k themselves, which on paper have an absurd performance, despite the lack of quality of some units.
Claiming to be the ''best'' mouse today is very complicated.
But I believe that due to the work that LAmzu did with Atlantis (my main) at least it was (now testing Zygen - GPW2 and Sora4k) I started to have doubts, But back, as a result of the work done by Lamzu on Atlantis, on Thorm (despite the click problems of the 1st batch) MAYA is going to be one of the best and is going to be successful, even more so due to the extremely competitive price in relation to the competition, just like Sora4k.
Outset AX wireless just came out, too. I'm between that and the Thorn. I don't like small but non ergo mice that much.
@@sebaba001 The thorn, came with its first batch with click problems that were a little ''soft'', not very tactile, but corrected in the second batch, it has a first-class sensor and weight. But the vaxee has an impeccable construction issue. I think in both cases you will have a lot of fun.
I tested the DAV3PRO, Xlite v2, Glorious Model D, and I don't like ergonomic mice, I prefer symmetrical ones, but I'm liking this Zygen shape.
I'm currently using SORA4k, Lamzu Atlantis, GPW2 and vaxee zygen.
I just sold my x2 bruce lee...and my x2v2 (I couldn't adapt to their shape).
Do you mind asking? Which of the two you like and also perform better with? Sora4k or NP-01S wireless?
@@benjaminruz1286 I would say they are similar, competing practices.
Zygen's construction is better, but Sora's is very good.
Both have very good performance.
The sora's 4k is sensational, but the vaxee's performance mode is very similar.
Advantage for sora's optical clicks. And for Zygen's more tactile drums and clicks.
So let's consider: both sensors are very good with very low tracking latencies. Zero interference. Perfect.
M1 and M2 tie buttons...are premium on both mice.
Very similar scroll...
Side buttons, the ones on the Sora are flatter, the ones on the vaxee are more tactile, both good, the ones on the vaxee are further inside. (less exposed).
Weight the sora is much lighter.
Construction the vaxee wins but the sora is very good.
The point is that the vaxee's coating is the best I've ever tested.
Both are very good. I would say they are on my top mouse loom that I tested.
@@parloca13 Thank you for the in depth and constructive input on those mice. I was looking into both of the mice.
Since I am located in EU Sora 4k will be a much more cost efficient choice.
I like the xm1r shape but that is very big to my liking and these two have very good shapes and specs. I guess Sora 4k is the one I will choose.
Thank you so much for the answer!!!
I refuse to watch this since I am STILL unable to get hold of a Thorn. When I can get an order in for a Thorn, I'll watch your THORN video, again, then I may consider watching this, until then, I am protecting my wallet, and sanity. And typing really long comments to enjoy my new TH80-X with WISTERIA switches.
I won't see this video because I have just ordered the Lamzu Throne mouse after seeing your review so 😅
Thorn is also freakin good, so worry not. You got a good deal buddy
@@MASB29 Lamzu I have the Atlantis mini pro and the Thorn (waiting for this to arrive in the next couple of days) and I can tell you the Thorn is absolutely an amazing mouse. And if you like ergo shapes, well better option even. Cheers

They're immediately available, at least where I bought (some store where I also got the Lamzu Atlantis Mini Pro and after the Thorn - 4 working days for 12€ postage fee, not bad; you can get 1 to 2 days paying 23€, i don't find it justifiable, but every mind is unique)
Lamzu: Maya X 🧐
Im stuck between this one and the Atlantis Mini but depending on the software updates I might the Atlantis Mini if they dont sort out the alleged click latency stuff
Edit : I'm getting a Lamzu Atlantis Mini now 💪
If you are talking about optimum tech video - he tested it with default debounce delay which can be changed by user
There's no click latency issues. Newer Lamzu mice including the Atlantis all have good delay times, just change the latency in the software. Optimum tech used an older version and didn't change the setting.
Outdated video, this -and all their newer mice for that matter- use a different mcu than the one he used in it.
i am 100% sure that the "is the lamzu maya" at the start only there because you didnt want it to be the same title as the last lamzu mouse
Lamzu should stop releasing mouse of the year contenders
eloshapes might be a good tool for comparison
I had it in my cart last night and noticed it's a small mouse, I don't have lady hands. I want a mouse the size of a GPX. Also, they have the magnesium Tachi coming soon.
.. also, it's all red cheap plastic looking design looks like a kid's Lego toy mouse.
Lamzu mice are built amazing actually. If you want a gpx size get a gpx 😂

It's definitely not better as far as build quality and click latency go. Also you're wrong, the Maya supports 8K hz.

94 fucking dollars??
There’s no way that’s true, the price would probably go up
It is true. And their previous mice were the same price and they didn't go up, highly doubt this one will. It is about $14 for the 4k dongle though, and about $13 for shipping
@@mikerzisu9508 It’s too good to be true I hope there’s no drawback or problems with the mouse and I also hope that it’s objectively better than the gpx
This is the same as their previous products pricing, which have roughly the same spec
@@MASB29 yeah, but the og2, atlantis mini pro and thorn dropped their prices (where I bought today the Maya, at 99€, the og2 75€, and the atlantis mini pro and the thorn at 89€) and this one is now the most expensive if I'm not wrong.

My finalmouse has had scroll wheel and double click issues since week 1 😊
According to Optimum Tech’s click latency tests the Lamzu Atlantis had a miserable 16ms 😂. This is horrendously bad and means you’d be 4 frames behind your opponents if they’re using a faster click latency mouse and both react at same time.
oops...
Lamzu has a debounce time of 12ms
I dont own that mouse but im pretty sure he used default settings which means the performance would have been measured to be much worse than if you used the lowest debounce settings. But im not sure.
That value is not applicable to this mouse or Lamzu's refreshed Atlantis OG v2 4k that both are using Nordic MCUs versus the original CompX MCU from the Lamzu Atlantis. It's also important to note that the value in Optimum's video is probably when using the mouse with a ~12 ms debounce setting (supposedly a default value). At a more standard debounce value of 4ms, you are looking at an approximate latency of ~8ms for that older Lamzu Atlantis model.
Optimum measured a old version of the Atlantis which uses worse tech, and had it set to default debounce of 12ms. At 0ms debounce, the original Atlantis had a click latency of ~4ms from TechPowerUp’s and Hausgaming’s tests. The new Lamzu mice have click latencies of around 2ms at 1khz, and a bit under 1ms at 4khz.
Am I the only one who needs a DPI button on top to remap it to another key? I refuse to buy a mouse that that doesn't have a DPI button on top.
That's a silly non-negotiable to have.
What are you even remapping it to lol
true, because of this I was forced to remap those things to my side buttons. (I was so used to the viper mini and orochi v2 dpi buttons that I've remapped that I'm kinda missing it)
Most people don't want this so good luck
@@tinypickle It's my Q in Apex Legends. Grappling is so much easier with Pathfinder with using the DPI button up top.
The mouse is way too expensive compared to a chinese clone
Because a Chinese clone is shit and Lamzu mice aren’t 😂 you rather pay 160+ for gpx 2??
@@tinocabral4201 but isn't lamzu also a Chinese clone?
@@yinitialize4930 nope. It’s a newer Chinese company sure but it’s not a clone, it’s not cheaply made either. They have dominated the market. Most Chinese clones especially mice are absolute shit. Qc issues outdated sensors horrible build quality and direct copy of shapes.
