I grew up with 87 Turtles too, but 03 is still my favorite. This Shredder really came out and said, "Where's the line, cause I'm about to cross it. No hesitation."
Yeah, Ch'rell actually taking a moment to realize and weigh his existence against his vengeancewas a great moment. I disagree with him morally, but I respect that he truly thought it through.
Some give it crap about not using all the old voice actors, but Turtles Forever was fantastic. In a world where Transformers G1 posers were trying to claim ownership over a franchise they had ignored for decades, TMNT chose to bring their fans together.
Now if only turtles forever didn't treat the 87 cast as a bunch of babbling infants. In the literal first episode of the 87 cartoon Leo implies he's gonna torture the guy who mutated splinter to get the info on how to change him back. The turtles in that show comprehend the concept of a serious threat, they just don't take THEIR villains seriously because they know exactly what to expect and because of this they're more relaxed and jokey. And need I remind you that Krang rules all of dimension X, dude literally conquered his home dimension and is vastly competent, without him shredder would have to rely on human foot ninjas.
2003 TMNT was GOATed, one of the co-creators behind the original comics, Peter Laird, spearheaded the show's development and made sure the series would be as faithful to the original comics as possible, while still doing new unique things, such as Shredder being an Utrom. It's by far the most comic faithful animated series of the TMNT franchise and highly regarded by fans because of it. Also, yes, Utroms and Krang are not the same thing, in fact, the race of the Utroms predate Krang, so if anything Krang was inspired by them. I highly recommend getting into it if this has garnered any interest.
The video didn't even mention that one episode with alternative timeline, where Utrom Shredder enslaved Utrom homeworld and Earth, killed Splinter and Kacey, built an army of robots and was going to conquer an entire galaxy. Donatello was the only turtle that ended up surviving that world. ua-cam.com/video/MqgbwoZPvHM/v-deo.html
Baxter did in fact leave working with ch'rell at the times he was supposedly killed by the turtles but every time ch'rell came back he would just be finding him again and again, there's even that one episode that was banned from airing on tv where baxter made a clone body for himself in a nuclear transplant which ended up decomposing on him throughout the episode and driving him completely insane, unfortunately he couldn't die in peace at the end because, you guessed it ch'rell found his brain and thus what we end up seeing
I had those OG TMNT on VHS and my first game was TMNT for the NES then Trutles in Time at Chuckie Cheese

How much hate in your heart do you have to have to be willing to erase the multiverse including yourself.

There is a movie called Batman vs TMNT you should watch it
I was there for OG 1987 TMNT myself
Coulda sworn you guys reacted to batman vs the teenage mutant ninja turtles before. If not, missed opportunity.
Me, hearing that you're a fan of 87' turtles and remembers how 03' Shredder treats the '87 one: *I'm sorry, little one*

Want to know something funny?
Remember that Shredder vs Batman scene?
Shredder won.
This is the best version of shredder ever a villainess monster with no heart no remorse and no redeeming quality just a pure evil character
