These must have been recorded ages ago as you have 3NT rebids showing 19 points....modern ACOL now has a rebid of no trumps with 15-17 points or 18-19 points. The 3NT is used for a long-runnable suit e.g. 1C - 1S - 3NT (x, Kxx, Ax, AKQxxxx). By using 2NT as showing 18-19 points you can also find a 5-3 major fit which would be impossible when bidding 3NT directly as you have used up all the space.

I like his teaching technique, however I wish he taught American standard in addition.We have different rules. I;ll try to adjust.
