That Kings analysis was piss poor and the bias for Fox to going to one of the teams you boys support is glaring. Basically you said fuck the momentum, trade away the generation talents you have on the team now and acquire picks to hopefully draft similar talents in the next 5 years and if it works great and if not then you go back to the mediocrity you’re familiar with and like it 😂. Why give takes on teams you don’t watch or do any background research on besides a quick google search of box scores and net rating?
Piss poor or you just disagree? I literally said they’re playing well enough right now that they ride it out but you’re kidding yourself if you weren’t thinking “it’s over” before the new coach boost! But I won’t blame them for holding onto as many guys as possible, especially in a smaller market. We’ll see how more extension talks go with Fox this offseason, if he’s still there.
@@shellynorr I’m not going to lie and say I didn’t think they were screwed but I wasn’t as low as a lot of people. The Kings net rating for most of the season showed this team was underperforming, I had been saying from the start of the season Keon needed at least 15-20 min a night after his performance last year but Brown decided to play Doug McDermott and Colby Jones instead so there was untapped potential, I looked at Carter being 70% of what he showed at Providence to be conservative, and this team hasn’t been healthy all year including Lyles and Keegan before the firing. On paper I had the kings finishing the season around the 5th seed. Doug has always been close to the players if you follow Sac and I’m glad that translated to his coaching but I’m not going to lie and say it was a for sure thing but I also wasn’t ready blow everything up either
@@shellynorr and you can throw into Mike Browns mismanagement that for a good portion of the start to the season we had 2-3 players in the tops minutes played which is unsustainable and asking for injuries. Brown’s rotations was a huge part to the hole the Kings dug themselves
@ No man I agree with you! I think it was Josh that said y'all should trade every single person but honestly I think he was jokingly exaggerating. As a Rockets fan, I get how it can get under your skin to hear people talk about your team without a lot of the context you pay close attention to, so thanks for responding! I'm optimistic about the Kings moving in the right direction. I just don't know if that means they should be selling, even if its just a little, in the short term. Doesn't have to be Fox or Sabonis.
VanVleet for Curry straight up
