Hey, how do you enter the tent when the ground sheet is zipped in? They (combiCamp) didn't understand my criticism that there is no real door left when everything is zipped together....

@heikofranz4175 Hi there! We actually prefer to leave the awning as a separate space and enter the camper from the back side. We’ll be sharing more videos soon, showing and explaining how we set everything up. Feel free to subscribe to the channel, we’d really appreciate it!

The problem is actually that CombiCamp installs separate zippers everywhere, i.e. there is no U-shaped door with a single zipper. The main tent is at least L-shaped, which makes it a bit better. I don't understand why they didn't build a second, door-shaped zipper into the front. And somehow it seems that nobody complained for 25 years. It's a mystery.
It's nice that you are making videos. CombiCamp itself or Aart Kok offers almost nothing in this respect. That's a shame, because the instruction manual is really no help at all.

@@heikofranz4175 Thank you for your feedback! The issue with the zippers is indeed an interesting topic. I’m also surprised that no improvements have been made over the years. A U-shaped door with a single zipper would definitely be more practical. Maybe it’s worth submitting this feedback directly to CombiCamp or Aart Kok - customer opinions are often underestimated but can lead to changes.
We usually use the side opposite the kitchen as the entrance, for a night or two, if we’re not going in through the back.
Getting the tent over the drawbar will solve this “entrance problem” for us.
It’s true that their video and manual materials are really lacking. Especially nowadays, when visual instructions are in high demand, it’s a missed opportunity. That’s why I’m glad I can help others with my own videos. If you have any other topics or questions you’d like me to cover in my videos, feel free to let me know!

Yes, the back anwing is an improvement. We have already one, but the sleeping cabin for the kids do block the tent entrance. 🙈
However, I was thinking about giving the front sheet to a taylor to add an additional zipper.
