I knew March of the Pigs would be pretty high on the list, the fill is so weird on drums, I can't wait to actually play these songs with actual guitar and drums.

Idk about 8 on drums lol, it's kinda all kick snare. Definitely 8 on guitar and maybe 8 on bass depending on the song

It's funny seeing these kinds of videos because it gives a good idea of what it would be like if Guitar Hero/Rockband had come out in this generation
not at all, most of festival songs are easy, but most people that play fortnite aren't big fans of rhythm games
@rnznlt3105 and most people weren't big fans of Guitar Hero/Rock Band back then either but it still got them curious enough to try it out, which is why it got so big and became a fad. I'm sure it's going to be the same once instrument compatibility is available

To me the hardest tracks are the ones where you play the same note over and over, sometimes with a few skips, while the other notes go crazy.
By far harder then all the notes going crazy.

I’d argue March of the Pigs is easier than Welcome to Paradise bc of more consistency. The sudden changes on WtP’s breakdowns add to the difficulty.
Can't disagree with that, it's definitely close. You could also argue that consistency is exactly what makes March of the Pigs harder. It never gives you a break (other than the rests ofc), and considering the amount of notes, NPS, and the time signature I'm giving it to March of the Pigs personally

For me, I can do the pattern on MotP but the endurance I struggle with. It's like my thumb just stops working halfway through the song
@@Spitfire14I agree. I still can’t believe I got a flawless on it. I barely made it because at the end the pattern just won’t stop. It was so constant that my thumb started to feel weird and nearly gave out. It’s the only song here that can make that happen.
I tend to think I’m pretty good at festival. I’ve fcd almost all the songs on this list except Motp. For some reason I can’t get the pattern. I wish there was a practice mode

funny thing is march of the pigs on drums isn't that necessarily hard its just staying consistent on the song without getting finger cramps that makes it so difficult for some

Totally agree. The only 2 songs that I don't have 100% are March of the Pigs (drums) and Mr. Brightside (drums)

It's a shame you'd think they'd bother adding difficult songs for the few that stuck around, or other people who played different rhythm games
March of the Pigs is difficult mainly because of it's length and weird rhythm. I often mess up at the final area a lot even though it's just the first pattern repeated for a 3rd time, but way longer.
Everyone's gangsta until piano gets added as an additional instrument and Rush E is added with it too 😭💀
This is really cool! I like how you include total notes and nps, I like looking at statistics like that. I have 5/10 fc’s on this list, and I can agree with your list, I just lose the rhythm with March of the pigs after like 500 notes, great video though!

Im so happy I was able to perfect "i" on expert on 200% speed. I grinded that hard as hell
March of The Pigs is 100% the hardest song, only one I actually struggled a bit to play. I've been playing rhythm games for about 6 years now so it's nice to play a chart with reasonable difficulty!
For some reason, March of the Pigs seemed easy to me, but Go With The Flow and Basket Case are IMPOSSIBLE for me to achieve 100%, The worst thing is that these 2 appear as "easier" 🗿

Add just about any speedcore song to Festival, and March Of The Pigs would instantly be dethroned for hardest song on drums lmao. I'm absolutely terrible on drums, and can barely even play expert mode at all, so watching anyone pull it off is pretty impressive IMO.
Another honorable mention for me is Suddenly I See Lead, the chorus part is difficult
Great list, but I'm surprised the bass on i by Kendrick Lamar wasn't at least mentioned, it has a crazy solo outro.
It’s very doable
The solo isn’t even that hard. And everything before the solo is extremely easy. I don’t think it deserves the max difficulty it has.
It’s actually cool that March of The Pig is actually extended. Although, I kind of which the Perfect Drug for the Lost Highway soundtrack was in the game.
I already knew off the bat that Heartbreaker and the NIN and Green Day songs were going to be difficult but damn

I mean, to the casual player, these are hard songs. I'm sure to most of us, these are nothing because we either grew up with Guitar Hero/Rock band or by playing Clone Hero or other rhythm games.
People gotta remember they're still trying to attract new players or their casual fanbase. So not every single song is going to be so hard.

Dude Kendrick had gotta be the best song in the game right now, it's difficult on every single instrument and sounds great. I really hope we get more Kendrick in the future, I'd love to play M.A.A.d City or Humble.
I think one or two of the Green Day songs are difficult on multiple instruments, too!

This video makes me start to think that those Whiplash memes when festival was first released were completely accurate with how hard songs on drums are, how are people NOT sweating and bleeding on the controller

All the songs have a good amount of expert ratings...but there are some that are almost impossible to play on a video game controller lmao I loved the video ❤
all the fort hero songs are easy asf compared to old rhythm game, none of these are even close to being impossible on controller id even say controller is easier.
I'm hard convinced they changed up the note pattern for The Search cause the speed doesn't feel the same. I remember playing it differently
You can put it at different speeds, the max speed is 2.50x and the slowest is 1.00x
Love to see through the fire and flames for guitar and rap god or godzilla for vocals

in terms of fun, i honestly really like the guitar chart to mr brightside. it's just so well done and feels really dynamic

Gonna hold off for now. The list would still have most of the same songs. But I’ll likely update it before season 2 ends, soon if a lot of songs keep getting added
Drums on here is like trying to pat your head and rub your stomach at the same time. Not to mention the constant cramps my thumbs get. There are a few drum songs that I do enjoy, like You Dont Know Me. There justs those little clicking sections that feels so satisfying to hit, and its also like this controled chaos. Its just overall a fun song for me and not really challenging

I would to see one of these every month with the ever expanding setlist, i would be curious to see where "Born This Way" on lead and b-bit beat fit into it.
You should do an updated version. 8-Bit Beat on Vocals easily surpasses every one of these songs.

Ngl I’m kinda surprised there’s no poison with drums on here. My FNF build is what I use for festival do I don’t play expert or know what poison is like on expert but I’d assume it’s crazy.

Im surprised drums for Buddy Holly isn’t on here. It’s so repetitive it gets difficult to keep up with all the notes. It doesn’t help that it only uses your first few fingers leaving your far right note empty until it reappears at random. My hands/arms always cramp on that song and im a pretty frequent/higher level rhythm game player
Poison on drums is difficult for me for the same reason. I'm decent at this game (not a pro as this is my first kinda real rhythm game as I don't think FNF counts lmao, but I started when it first came out having never really played rhythm games and progressed really quickly, maybe because I am a musician irl so I have a good sense of rhythm in general), always playing expert and doing the hardest instruments and whatnot and getting either golds or at least 5 stars on most songs, but I cannot get the consistency down for Poison on drums because it's so repetitive and my hands cramp and buttons stick sometimes. I find Buddy Holly drums slightly easier than Poison drums lol
Buddy Holly is really easy. Drums can sometimes be annoying, which is why I like triangle notes on drums more than not, it allow for more consistency.
I literally spent a day trying to learn March of the Pigs to get 99% with 5 gold stars when it dropped. Glad to see it up there lol
I love this mode sm, I haven't played any other mode since it came out (just a few matches of battle royale to complete the mini battle pass but that's all)
play an real rhytm game then, osu!mania, fnf or even robeats in roblox. it works way better and they have longer range of difficulties.

March of the Pigs is so simple, fundamentally. its just 2 very basic rythyms. but good lord doing them both at the same time just destroys my little brain lol
Basket case is num 5 for me because i play on switch and thumb setting but it's not my video, good job my man flawlessing most of these songs and i agree that March of the pigs is num 1❤

lol I decided to do the last ramp it up challenge by doing welcome to paradise (gold star any song on drums) and it was super fun but stressful especially the bridge.. the consistency sucked but in the end I finally did it 😂

I played march of the pigs yesterday on X and it's hard. I kept up until like the second drop until I missed a few notes and that just messed me up through the whole song. I have a few song that I got top 1000 in, I really want to play the search but have to buy it tho, but the search looks so fun

I sightread 8bit the other day on vocals expert and omg that sudden note spam near the end. Still got 91% first try though
i on vocals expert mode is sooo fun to play it has some of the most satisfying charting

The hardest songs for me are anything where you have to hit a bunch of the same note in a row (specifically because of those damn pull off notes). The super complex patterns are the easiest part for me.

March of the Pigs is beyond the hardest I’ve ever played especially in the drums part that almost sprained my thumbs and one of my fingers now I can’t imagine if they ever add Through the Fire and Flames by Dragonforce……..I’ll be terrified

Agree with your list. March of the Pigs is definitely the hardest, difficult pattern and so repetitive its easy to slowly drift off rhythm. (Why did they butcher the audio mixing for Pigs tho lmao.)

Really good list! Especially for someone with such a low sub count. My personal thoughts:
-For I, I'd argue drums is harder than vocals mainly because vocals finishes the song early, and the finale with drums is just about on the same difficulty as the hardest part of vocals. Combine that with the demanding third quarter of the song and I'd say drums JUST outweighs vocals.
-Personally I'd swap Welcome to Paradise with March of Pigs just because of maintained consistency. March of Pigs is very repetitive so it's easy to get into the rhythm and lock in, while Welcome to Paradise just throws new shit at you every now and then. The fill is FUCKED on March but you get used to it pretty quickly.
-Highway Tune is too high imo, could easily be bumped a couple spots so I and YDKM are in front of it. Just never had any struggles with it, with the hardest part sort of just being a slightly beefier version of I's lead.
Would love to see your future lists when more songs come out, I'm sure 8-Bit Beat vocals and Edge of Glory's lead will make an appearance
Thanks for the input! Yeah it was pretty much a toss up between Welcome to Paradise and March of the Pigs. i drums I had looked at before, honestly all the parts are pretty close. I gave it to the vocals because the drums are pretty easy early in the song. I’ll definitely make another list in the future when a lot more songs are added
Believe it or not, I can 100% March of the pigs (almost, whenever I use overdrive my game loves to kill me but I've gotten 300,965 points on it before)

How can I get the golden stars? I made 98% accuracy but only got half gold stars, I don't know if I need 100% or need to hit more perfect notes or it depends of the boost
You have to be at max combo (4x, 6x) and hit perfect notes
This makes me proud that ive 100% brightside on expert drums

March of the Pigs is actually not so bad once you get used to the pattern. Welcome To Paradise is so much harder even with practice.
