Cant tell you how thankful I am!! I was at my wits end with this blinking light. Refused to disappear after not being able to reset it for ~4 years but now its gone 🥰
You solved my problem! Apparently during my reassembly after a complete floor sound deadening, I must of not seated that Yellow Air Bag connector fully... I cleaned the connector with Deoxit an exercised the connector about 5 times to a full "Click " each time..I performed the Learning procedure as you demonstrated....I am now very happy! Thank You. :)
Was there any tape around the connector? I wanted to find out what type of tape it was in case if I ahve to replace it: static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/20...44443-3500.pdf
@@Wizegui Yes there was tape originally (maybe blue or yellow plastic tape) don't remember exactly what color it was...A high quality(3M) electrical tape that doesn't come apart in a car's hot summer interior should work fine.
@@gl2214 I did everything he did in the video. Only thing I did differently was use electrical contact cleaner instead of the dielectric grease. Been almost 2 years and no issues since.
Fyi this works on 2010 G37x Coupe driver side. Same yellow connector. I was able to reach it by just raising the seat height all the way up. Disconnecting and reconnecting once did the trick. Thanks thanks thanks for this diy.
@@frankbrawnson9228 appreciate the response. I did mine today without having to remove the seat either... just raised it as high as possible.. I did remove the negative charge on the battery tho, just to be on the safe side. I hope that light stays off this time!
My 2008 Infiniti G35 has the B1018 code. Front Passenger airbag sensor failure. Can I have that code and it still just be a bad connection. It has a recall for this exact thing on this car but not my specific VIN so Infinit wants to charge me 6 to 8 thousand dollars to fix it.. I live in an inspection state and it won't pass which makes my car worthless. I'm disabled and dont have more money than the car is worth to fix it. Any advice PLEASE
Nissan tidda when I turn steering completely left the air bag light start to blink at the Desh board, and it can be reset,by the normal trick by using key In and out in the key slot couple of time, but once I turn steering completely left it start blinking again, please help, thanks 🙏

Did this 6 months ago on my 03 Sedan and the light hasn’t come back on this actually works!
Did you do actually what this video did? Have a 03 sedan too and have the same issue

Going to try this tomorrow. Appreciate the vid and those pink pliers go hard bro lol
Did it work? do you think the g37 would be exactly the same? Getting code B1134
Yeah, thanks for the videos, mine worked, i didn't even have to remove the seats, i reached the connectors from behind the seat.
The reset didn't work either. I just disconnected and reconnected the yellow piece several times. no dice.
I tried the fix, but it didn't work. I didn't have any dielectric grease. I couldn't find it. Do you think that is the missing link?

Frank Brawnson did it ever come back ?
@@TyySmoove1 nope, never...
did you unplug the car battery?
@@HowardTdotIts been a while but I dont think I did disconnect the battery... and FYI the light still didnt come back.

You are the man for this! Worked like a charm👌
I did this and found out one of the wires for the harness had been severd gonna have to try attach them with butt connector maybe ?
I'm not really getting a code for this just a blinking light. Is that normal?
Did the airbag deployed or is it just a bad connection

Everytime i try to get into diagnostic mode in my z 07 its only blinking 2 seconds constantly why cant get in??
I think mine is the clock spin in the steering wheel
Do you know what code if it solid for 3 seconds then flashes 2 times? Then back to the solid 3 seconds?

Might be issue with the clockspring
What about simply cutting out the connector and directly connecting both wires? Would that work?
Have you tried this yet? lol
Seems like a good idea to me.
My seat bolt won't budge
Try using a 24" breaker bar.
How do you put it into diagnostic mode?
The second link I put in the description of this video shows how to get it into diagnostic mode. It's at the top of that page.
I have a same problem. Tried first with ignition key but it comes back. I tried also your trick and it comes back after 15mins.. What next?
Dušan Kostić did you ever fix the problem?
@@3cinco76 nope bro
.gave up on.still has blinking light
@@d.costa94 same issue here
@@DJLotLizard I didn't get time this summer to try fixing it. Rear wheel hub needs to be taken care of very soon
@@d.costa94 I think I've narrowed it down to the steering wheel airbag itself
Would this fix be applicable to an 09 G37? getting code B1134
Not sure... but someone else commented that it worked on their 2010 G37 so it might be worth a shot!
what diagnostic code did u get?
i have it rn its B1143
B1129 or B1143
B1018 g37 coupe
AUDIO SUCKS. but thanks.
