Happy you reminded everyone to reverse the image before they printed. That is so important for an accurate result. ❤️
Absolutely!!
Thank you so much for making this video. Specifically, mentioning that it will take a few tries to get it right, and its normal for the transfer to be a bit "imperfect." I've had a hard time mastering the removal process, and I've watched a dozen plus tutorials where everyone seems like a wizard! I had no idea what I was doing wrong and tried so many different techniques. It turned out that I was just aggressively rubbing off the paper, and some level of imperfection should be expected. You were the only person to mention this out of all the videos and techniques I've tried.
Glad it was helpful
One of the best explanations I’ve seen❤
Glad it was helpful!
Tina is so cute! Great tutorial!
Thanks❤️ getting a lot more efficient at making these 🌸
Dying to try this ty😂
Lots of fun
@@OurUpcycledLife I hope I can figure it out I've got lots of them that I want to do I'm going to start with something small and see how it goes, then I want to do tables and posters. My dad passed away almost 2 years ago he did a whole bunch of pictures like dragons and stuff I have them all very cool
Is it better to use colored photos or black and white?
Could you please direct me to your video where you make your chalk paint? I can’t seem to find your link. Thank you.

I needed this for to finish an art project, I was super confused on how to do it till I saw this video, thank you so much !!!
Glad it was helpful thanks so much for watching
Which program are you using to flip your photos please?
I use Picmonkey a graphic program but you can use goggle docs or your word program ♥️
@@OurUpcycledLife thank you I’ll try that ☺️
Do I need to use the whit chalk paint too? Or can I just use black?
You can use block, but if you’re going to do a transfer, it will not show up because of the background will be so dark
Why do you put dark chalk paint and then cover it with white? Why not just use 3 layers of white?
You certainly can
Can you use photo paper to do this
Yes, you sure can
What will happen if you only use black chalk paint?
And I have a colored picture. Watching all these videos have confused me more 😩😩😩
I always like to use a white background so your picture stands more. If you use a dark color, it won’t show as much.
What if you use gloss mod podge to seal at the end ?
Yep you bet that will work! Thanks for watching Julie
That is a very original technique. Thanks for the tutorial.
Thanks!
This is a very informative video, thank you! ❤️
Thanks so much glad you enjoyed
Question please! With this method is the board retaining a thin piece of the paper? Or is it purely ink on the board?
Will be just be ink and mod podge left
Click bate
Do we just print out photos on standard paper? Or onto photo paper?
Appreciate your reply ❤❤
Computer paper
So why the black chalk paint on before the white??
When you distress it, the black will peak through
Would i still have to reverse the image if i did a quote instead of a picture?
If you’re doing words, they have to be reversed or they will be backwards
Did you print the photo on just normal xerox paper?
Yes
It doesnt atate i cant use actual printed out photos? Or does it have to be on ir al paper
You rubbing hard till fine 🙂 wow
You sound too far away!!! Can't hear you 😕😟
I see links for everything but the chalk paint recipe :(
Thanks for watching! 🌸 here is the link ua-cam.com/video/cyi22OrwrPk/v-deo.html
@@OurUpcycledLife the only laser printer i have is only black, will it still work with your technique?
it sure will!
Foam brush is better
nice. thank you for this!
Your welcome♥️ hope you got some good tips! Thanks for watching 🌿
Does it work with photo print outside from Walgreens or CVS?
Works best on computer paper
I was wondering will this technique work both in laser or ink jet print or only in laser print?
Yes, it will work with both but the LaserJet does work better
Would you happen to know why all of my photos have turned cloudy?
If doing reverse technique you haven’t rubbed all the paper off
What if I put mod podge on my piece of wood first is it okay
I like to put on paper I find it works better
I'm So Addicted to Your signs Omg I love everything
Glad you enjoyed
Where do you get the wood for these projects? Do you thrift them and sand off the paint/designs on them before you put on your own?
Yes, I can do that or I just use scrap pieces of wood that I found
Where do you find scrap wood?
Hello, so excited to try this project. Can you please tell me what type of paper you print the photos on.
This is just print it on regular computer paper
Why use black chalk paint under the white?
It causes a distressed, vintage luck when your project is finished
Can you use a regular printer or does it have to be a laser printer?

Whether colour print can be used?
Yes you can
I dont see the chalk paint recipe.

Can you use any light color chalk paint? I have a list baby blue and a pink.. I was wondering if it would work...
Yes you can!
Talking like a pro at this and how she's found what works best yet it comes out looking like hammered 💩.. Funny when she starts and says how great her method and choice of materials are but when she sees the results she says "I don't like things to look perfect" 😂 Tons of these videos on UA-cam with way better results!
Can you give links for yt videos that have better results please?
Could I use a glossy print to transfer onto wood?
No needs to be printed on regular computer paper! Thanks for watching Joan
