The way the horse head came out the window like, "how can I help you?"
For one man to have made this map is amazing. His talent shows.
It's cool that it's popular despite the fact that it's very mod-y, it reminds me of the Morrowind or Source modding scene from the mid-00s where they'd make a hardcore tactical map but also you could get a lightsaber if you do the secret quest that takes 4 and a half hours to complete. Namalsk also has it's supernatural elements but they don't feel as in your face as "get Thor's Hammer so you can teleport to the secret sniper rifle island".

A byproduct of these edited videos (never knew you did do videos), is that it shines a light on complete the lunacy that you espouse you hours on unending hours… e.g “I speak horse..” - in my world that earns you a section of the mental health act.

You know the video and editing are good when you feel anxiety, happiness, excitement and scared even when you watched it all live and know the ending. Kudos Paul and editors.
I think the first DayZ video I ever watched (aside from some old FrankieOnPC from the mod days) was you running an earlier version of the Deer Isle quest with the platforming through the ruins and getting the pieces to thor's hammer and teleporting all over the place and thinking "I don't know what I thought DayZ was but I definitely DIDN'T think it was this". I specifically remember you trying to get through that timed door that you had to leave your backpack on the ground in the previous room to make it through, what a weird instance of gameplay to be introduced to the game through.
Deer Isle is a great fit for your personality though, kind of like the Indiana Jones of DayZ. Not necessarily the best shot in the world, but the way you get out of sticky situations has a very adventure-serial-vibe, going from cooking up bear meat with a guy that just tried to shoot you to spelunking in mystical caves.
Also I always thought Deer Isle was pretty cool, but what it REALLY needed was the Dragonslayer from Berserk. Glad to see they made the obvious addition and put it in lying on the ground 2 and a half hours into a quest for Mjolnir and a sniper rifle.
Finished. GREAT VID as always. I love these vids because as I’m approaching the end I’m gambling with myself in my head on whether it’s gonna be a to be continued or a gut wrenching death, the closer this got to the end, I saw there wasn’t enough time for a successful satisfying ending so I just knew you were about to get blasted crossing that bridge 😂 CANT WAIT FOR PART 2!!
seeing the gun break right before the to be continued has me on the edge of my seat

I would love for DayZ to have more quests like this, even shorter/simpler ones. Just something to actually do on a map, because I often find good gear, then feel bored and don't know what to do.

i did the quest when you had to get the skull staff by diving ( well , on a pve server , so less merit , but still hard as fk ) and i suffered so much in the main temple i knew the way by heart even thought it's been more than a year for me ... i would have yelled at you the way , you were so close to the right way at first hahaha , but i didnt know you could walk on the ivy cable on the primary temple , still learning stuff ! great vids , need more !

Deerisle might just be my favourite DayZ map quest, it's just so cool. (Although the new temple looks like a nightmare lmao)
