Queen Mary wore a blue polka summer dress when aboarding the yacht. Its so cute and airy. She even wore a blue shirt and blue pant during the changing of the graud. She has on a blue blouse and an off white blazer with black pants. She's definitely going to inspire summer outfits for women across Denmark and international.

Thank you Alexandra. As a child my first and last musical instrument was the recorder - fond memories 😂. It is wonderful to see King Harold and Queen Sonia resuming their joint royal engagements. The Princess Grace Rose Garden would be an amazing sight - I love roses. And last but not least my two favourite royal families - Denmark and Japan - I hope they both enjoy their holidays. I can just imagine Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako taking the horse and carriage out for ride around the ranch. 🇦🇺

Alexandra you reminded me of my own humble musical origins! Totally remember the recorder, moving on to Clarinet and finally Oboe in High School! My favorite instrument was actually my Magnus Organ I got for my 9th birthday with S&H Green Stamps! My first piece was “Little Brown Jug! Today I have a baby grand piano that has a player mechanism and works with an Apple iPod! Regarding the next week's events, oh my goodness, it's going to be BUSY! Not only do we have the State visit from the Kingdom of Denmark to the Kingdom of Sweden on Monday we also have a State visit from the Republic of Moldova to the Kingdom of Norway! Tiaras galore!👑🙂👑
As for His Royal Highness Grand Duke Henri, I have a feeling he will abdicate in 2030.
And, finally, King Abdullah II, I have much respect for him. He reminds me of his late father, King Hussein bin Talal of Jordan... a great man.🙂

Alexandra, I certainly do remember playing the recorder in both Primary and Secondary Schools. Unfortunately, I couldn't practice at home as my darling Miniture Fox Terrier would howl non-stop!
When I see Queen Mary in her role now, I wonder if deep down whether she truly feels 'royal' after having an Australian upbringing. Can you really change who you have been all of your life due to marrying into royalty? Can you suddenly flick a switch that makes you into royalty? I think that deep down that she still is that young girl who played with her siblings as a child in Tasmania, whom she is still close to now, yet has embraced her new position as one who has been promoted to the lofty heights of a Queen of a country that would have been quite alien to her as a child. Unless you're born into a royal family, one can never really understand what being royal means. Mary has become a wonderful Queen, yet I can't help but still see her torn between her Australian life and now her Danish one. One can't block out their upbringing, so I think that she must embrace them both. I have to laugh at them moving north for the Summer to escape the heat of Copenhagen. I would be screaming - "leave me here as I'm desperate for some sun!" Although, who can say no to sailing around in their own yatch?

Crown Prince Frederik hid his true identity from Mary Donaldson , at first, Frederik says he fell in love with Mary on the day they met , and Mary fell in love with hi It was called Belle Propertiesm before Christmas 2000. Mary's friends were also the people she worked with as it was a new Property Company they started together.
When Frederik confessed who he really was, Nary's friends hid him in the house they shared . Frederik was determined that, this time his Mother, Queen Margrethe was not going to break the relationship, as she had done with a previous relationship.
Queen Margrethe's husband , Prince Henrik was very supportive , of Frederik and Mart as a couple , but Frederik's mother refused to meet Mary until May 2003. Mary was contemplating ending the re;lationship , because she did not think that Frederik should give up the throne for her.
Mary Donaldson was intending to move to London to train as a barrister, but Frederik took her on a farewell get-away to Rome and Proposed . He got down on one knee and begged aMry to marry him. The Queen was forced to aggree , and on 8th October 2003,, after 2 months of official enquiries , by Danish Intelligence etc, the engagement was announced. All this was on the royal Forum sites about 3 years ago and is taken from king Frederik's Autobigraphy--Under the Beam-Sadly it was not translated into English. =Frederik and Mary went on several secret holidays in Australia , where Frederik said he had to do the cooling as "" Mary is not a good cook "" How different the Danish Royals are than King Charles, who has a footman to iron his shoe laces and put tooth-paste on his tooth brush !

Oh, how I would love to see the gardens at Egeskov Slot! As for the Princess Grace Rose Garden, I can confirm that it is absolutely heavenly. Another place I recommend visiting is Les Jardins Saint-Martin in Monaco-Ville.

At the moment, two. HM The Queen aka Queen Mary, and her mother-in-law HM Queen Margrethe, fka HM Queen Margrethe II who was Queen Regent until her abdication back in January.
