In French to say "what if" is "et si..." It is the exact same in Arabic. That's so cool to see the syntactical similarities between French and Levantine Arabic
It is indeed fascinating
Thanks! So much Ibrahim. I’ve been watching you for years and I have your book You’re the best teacher out there for Arabic!!! Natalie.
Thank you very much Natalie for your kind words and support 💕
Hi from Sweden! We are a group of swedish women who try to learn Levantine arabic.
I will become a member again if you speak a little slower.
For us who don't speak English you speak to fast.. Im listening to another channel and she speaks slower very clear..
I m thankful for your lessons.. we want to speak to our refugees and new Swedish citizens in their language!
Mabruk ramadan
You can slow the video down on UA-cam
Hi Marie,
That’s not hard to do and I’ll certainly slow down a bit but can’t slow down too much as others aren’t on the same level as you’re. As @sevthrive said earlier, you can slow down the video itself to help more. I hope this helps and would hope this would help. Many thanks for your support and great work in helping refugees 💕
Ty for ur great work. My fiancier is lebanese and he doesn't know how to teach his tounge. I started to learn standard arabic, so it's perfect to get the differences. The way u explain grammar is amazing ❤️
Thanks for your kind comment and I’m glad to hear you’re finding these tutorials helpful.
Very helpful and you were very generous by giving us an extra example for each case. I guess it's because Ramadan Karim....Ramadam is generous. Happy Ramadan from your Jewish friend in the USA.
Ramdan Karim brother, enjoy
رمضان مبارك عليكم و عائلتك يا استاذ
ألف شكر
الف شكر الفديو!
اعمل معروف، ممكن نعمل فيديو عن رمضان؟ ضمن في كلمات متل: سحر، افطر، صلاة، جوعان..
تسلم و مع سلامة
إن شاء الله عن قريب. بارك الله فيكم
Thank you!

At 2 mins 35 sec...you have the word beginning with ق but it sounds like A. How do I know when or why to pronounce this way? Thank you ❤
Pick either both are fine
سلام عليكم إبراهيم ، شو يعني "قولة" ؟ بيعني
"speech,saying"?
sorry if you've explained it already somewhere else 😅
Yes, it means that
@@ArabicClearlyLevantineArabic شوكرا !
@@zacknazarov1649 شُكراً
مرحبا استاذ! عندي سؤال.
لیش ما نقول "شو بتقول؟" instead of "شو قولتك؟"
ممکن explain it:)
شکراً کتیر ل هالفیدیو🫶🏻
قولة is the verbal noun / noun
بتقول is the verb conjugated
Most people tend to use the verbal nouns / nouns to form idioms hence the example here but both can be used
مرحبا ابراهيم.
In your intro at the very beginning, what do you say after ان شاءالله ?
I hear at the end:
شباب وصبايا
@@edschultz9551 it means boys and girls.
Sorry, I mean the bit in between ان شاءالله and شباب وصبايا
@@edschultz9551 تكونوا بخير وسلامة
I hope you’re well and healthy meaning I hope you’re ok
