And does it stand out for you in a market chuckfull of shorter camapaign games? Think of Tamashii, Fateforge, Tales from the red dragon inn, agemonia...
It does for me! Especially for the theme. There are very little to no adult pirate themed campaign games. They’re very rare and when they do happen, usually more comedic and in the family category.
I love the game flows very well and if you’re into RPG board games, you’ll feel right at home with this in terms of the rules. The rules are also much easier to consume. So barrier to entry on this one is great. In turn that helps you get to the fun of the game a lot quicker. It’s also a more adult pirate game which really doesn’t exist. Cheers!
